whltv is choppy tonight but the Hitmen lead the Pats 3-0 through 2. The Pats were very good that period. They were all over the Hitmen but Snider was good and lucky with 2 goal posts.

Hitmen were much better in the 3rd and beat the Pats 5-0. Congrats to Michael Snider on picking up his first WHL shutout! Hitmen are now 7-1 on the year.

Foucault seems to have turned into a freak this week... That's what? 5 goals in three games?

Finally showing what he had at the end of last season...
whl.ca says they are losing 2-0 right now though...MJ sure seems to have our number so far this season...

3-0 now. The Hitmen started so well but since about the 10 minute mark of the first it has been all Moose Jaw. They don't look that good tonight at all.

Cody Sylvester makes it 3-1 and suddenly the Hitmen have life.

Moose Jaw scores after they strip the puck from the Hitmen. 4-2 with 13 minutes left. Probably a goal Komistek wants back.

Hitmen played the last 3 and half minutes with Komistek on the bench and the Warriors put it in the empty net. Warriors beat the Hitmen for the 2nd time this year.

They sure have our number this year. At least this time they beat us, rather than us beating ourselves. Tough situation for Komistek to be put into for his first WHL action.

I think MJ has been more fortunate than anything. First win was cause our backup had a bad game but Snider has done a pretty good job otherwise and then they catch our 3rd stringer in his first game ever in the dub.

Just a quick update on the Hitmen roster, to no surprise the Hitmen trimmed their roster to 25 players by reassigning goaltender Chase Komistek to the Grande Prairie Storm of the AJHL. Komistek got into one game this regular season, last weekend in Moose Jaw and lost 6-3.

Snider did a great job for a back-up, but always happy to have the starter back!

It is overager cut down day in Dub. Even though the Hitmen have a spot available, I don't expect them to pick up an overager today. There are a few teams that are excused from the deadline because of injuries and I do believe once those teams have all their overagers healthy, the Hitmen will make a move.

Well that sucked. Saskatoon was ridiculously lucky to get out of the first period tied at 0, and then the Hitmen just disappeared. Strange how a team can just vanish like that between periods.

6-5 win tonight with a crazy three goal in two minute ending.
Anyone out west - watch this Portland team and tell me if they are usually as cheap and dirty as they were tonight. All kinds of hits away from the puck, diving that would embarrass the Canucks, some clown (22, I think) running around after the game was over trying to injure anyone he could find, and then a collective spoiled diaper as the final buzzer ended. I want the Winterhawks franchise to rebound, but the team did not earn any respect today.
