That's odd..wonder what's up.
Anyways, loving the team chemistry going on with the AHL team. Over the last couple days, we have posted numerous shutouts. We really know where everyone is right now. Keep it up!

Thanks... I plan on it! I tried to play last year, but was stuck on wireless and the lag was just too much. I bought a new router and am wired this season, so now it's just a matter of finding the time to play.
I'm really enjoying the teamwork going on with the casual team. There's been some really good passing going on the few games I've played.
I should be on later tonight... how much later depends on how close the Vikings/Packers game is!

The club webpage is likely going to be unreachable for a bit due to the FIFA and NBA Live launch putting major stress on the database severs. Thus they have taken down the severs while they work to improve them.

I am having a problem with my create a player for EASHL. I made him the day I bought the game. I've tried editing him (changing names and attributes) but none of the changes are taken into effect in the EASHL. I do this by exiting the ONLINE section of the game and going to MYNHL10 and create a player to edit him. I've tried saving it and loading but I still get my original created player without the changes.
Should I be going elsewhere to do this in the ONLINE menu? I've even tried saving and loading first but nothing changes.

If anyone is having trouble passing try changing the view to classic. It's not close up and you lose a bit of immersion but it's easier to see where everyone is, especially when drop passing to the points.
Jack...it's in the very 1st menu under My Pro. That create a player is something totally separate from anything EASHL.

from the main menu, you select 'my pro' then when you go into the hockey shop, you hit r1 a few times to get to the tab with the name and stuff.

Nope, it's still active. Just players going down to get more play time with casual group I figure.

personally, i am conflicted. i am one of the GM's that has been pushing hardest for a selective competitive pro team. on one hand i do enjoy playing with everyone on the fatas. but i also would really like to be on a team that can push for the top spot. and it looks like this years team is just struggling to keep at .500... and though i enjoy playing/chatting with you guys, i also hate losing. so i have to figure out which one actually means more. it really has me unsure of what to do.

Well, I think some of the guys in Pro moved back down to get all their cards. Personally, I'm doing the same thing. With all the top teams having all their boosts already, it really makes it hard for the rest of us.

that seems silly to me considering that EA still hasn't set up any filtering system. regardless of league, you play roughly anyone. from top 100 pro teams to casual teams with 5 games played. also considering that the concept behind the pro team was to have the best players together, the fact that the cards require high grades would seem to be bass ackwards logic by going back to casual where it can be harder to get good grades with different teammates each time.

I had a long post that just got lost..... ugh. I'll post it later but the most important part was that the pro team needs to get together in some OTP games or something and practice. We are playing like a team with good players, rather than a good team.

I really hate playing with the cpu especially if they're d because it's a toss up if you get a good one. The results are usually stupid dekes in the attacking zone or letting the opposing team walk around them. And then there's the always dreaded pass calls. Anyways here's some tips on dealing with them offensively:
How to make a cpu player take a slapshot:
hold R1 when the cpu has posession. Do not use this for one timers or else the cpu will end up saucer passing it to you while you attempt a pokecheck at nothing resulting in a loss of possesion.
How to make a cpu player one time a pass:
right before the pass gets to him slam up the right stick like it's you doing the slapshot.
One thing I hate about this is if I'm in the slot and I think a pass is coming I start a wind up...sometimes this pass doesn't come and goes to the point instead and the result is a fan by the cpu or a bad shot is taken them. This is why it's better to play with more human controlled players where they're the ones in control of the shot.
