Such anger Y_B, such anger. Understandable though. I'd be pissed too if I had to spend time in Edmonton.

Best of luck on the GMAT, but you might want to actually write it before you narrow down your choices, seems like kind of a backwards approach.

You sure can. I graduated from U of C a year and a half ago with a BA in Military History. Excellent professors, especially Dr. Bercuson. His 500 level seminar is still the best class I've ever taken.

I'm not worried at all about the GMAT, I know what's required of me to score a high mark. It's the motivation to study for it and get in the right mode that's the problem right now. Hence, why I've already narrowed down my schools.

Well depending on your GPA and experience, it doesn't have to cost much. In fact, it doesn't have to cost anything at all. CMSS is a well-funded program with many different scholarships available; I'm not paying a cent for any of my education, and I doubt most anybody in the program is paying full tuition.

There is absolutely no way UBC has less attractive girls than Waterloo. It's a school of almost entirely engineering, math, and computer science in an uninteresting town in Ontario ... Take a trip here for a week, and your scale of hotness will be shifted so you can appreciate UBC more, I can assure you of that.

I went to U of C. I had one good prof and the rest of them were shockingly bad. I left because it was a total waste of my time. I'm not into rankings but if you want my opinion, don't go there or send your kids to school there, I sure as hell won't. Terrible school.

True. But y'all have the girls at Laurier to look at too... we don't have that luxury.
That said, you live in Waterloo.. so I guess that evens things out.

It must've went downhill since I was there. I had no complaints about the broads.

UofA's pretty stacked, especially in the Education building.
...unfortunately it's hard to tell after September because they're all covered up under layers of hoodies and winter jackets. Stupid winter.

I would be willing to put my Alma Mater, the University of Victoria up against any school in Canada, nay, the world in the "Most Hotties" category. Hell, Victoria girls make Calgary girls look like, well, Calgary girls.

Hmm, my university (U of T) went down 4 spots =/
I think hiring based on university happens much more in the states and in places where the industries are not as specialized as they are in Calgary.
Here, U of C students get a huge leg up even though U of C is 150th in the world.
