^ Well the Chiefs have gone into a complete nose dive with no end in site. They would kill for a player like Jared Allen right now. Instead we have a $63,000,000 (god thats a lot of zero's) QB who has no business starting an NFL game. To his defense he has no talent around him at all and things just get progressivly worse as our overrated GM keeps bringing in cut players from the Patriots and Dolphins in an attempt to instill a winning attitude. I better stop here or I could go on for hours.

Cross-posted in the college thread...
Attention NFL Prospects: Stay away from Deion Sanders!!!
Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant ineligible for the rest of the season:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4540282
Quote:
Bryant, an All-American who is ranked ninth overall on Mel Kiper Jr.'s most recent Big Board, was ruled ineligible by the school after lying to the NCAA when he was asked if he had visited Deion Sanders' home and had worked out with him.
|
Of course the idea of being suspended for the season for "inappropriate contact with a former NFL player" is ridiculous on its own, but that's another discussion for another day.

Follow up:
Quote:
The 49ers filled their vacant practice-squad spot with OLB Martail Burnett (Utah, 6-3, 262). He spent 20'08 season on Vikings' p-squad. He was recruited to college as a safety, then put on 50 pounds and played defensive end. He ranks in Utah's top 10 all-time with 17 sacks and 33.5 tackles for loss. Burnett takes the practice-squad spot that opened when the 49ers released WR Dobson Collins.

According to Schefter on Twitter. Before Braylon Edwards walked into the Jets locker room, Bart Scott hung a picture of Lebron and a pair of boxing gloves.

Also according to Schefter, Arizona has 24 hours to sell out or game will be blacked out. Interesting considering the Cards are the NFC Champions.

I just hope it's better than my first NFL game 3 years ago. Vikings/49ers and the final was something like 9-3 for SF.
You going the stubhub route for tickets?

As the season wears on a lot of NFL markets are going to be in tough to sell out. Tampa, Kansas City, Oakland, St.Louis will all have a hard time drawing anyone to watch the crap product they're putting on the field in those markets.

I think so, one of my buddies is an ebay fiend, so we might go that route, even though I'm not fully comfortable with ebay.
Either stubhub or other ticket sites similar to that.

Kansas City was two thirds full for the home opener versus the hated Oakland Raiders.
