Attention NFL Prospects: Stay away from Deion Sanders!!!
Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant ineligible for the rest of the season:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4540282
Quote:
Bryant, an All-American who is ranked ninth overall on Mel Kiper Jr.'s most recent Big Board, was ruled ineligible by the school after lying to the NCAA when he was asked if he had visited Deion Sanders' home and had worked out with him.
|
Of course the idea of being suspended for the season for "inappropriate contact with a former NFL player" is ridiculous on its own, but that's another discussion for another day.

Right, so contact with a former NFL player is a no, but a billionaire spending hundreds of millions of dollars on every single bell and whistle imaginable so that his favorite team becomes a contender is okay.

Actually there was nothing wrong with the contact with Neon Deion... Dez thought there was and so he lied about it like a moron.

Wow, way to go Dez. Go from the #1 receiver in the draft to hamstringing your team's Big 12 championship hopes.

That's not necessarily true. there was obviously something fishy about the contact to compel NCAA investigators to ask specifically about it. Whether it was a violation or not remains to be seen.

Well okay let me clarify there is nothing wrong with having contact with a former NFL player. I don't know why the investigators looked into it. Maybe because Sanders relationship with Eugene Parker? Anyways the reason he was suspended is because he lied. He says he lied because he thought that the act of contacting Deion was wrong. I doubt he will be gone all year unless there is more to the story they can prove.

For Nicker and anyone else interested that has ESPNU, Wichita's two catholic HS are playing right now. Bishop Carroll and Kapaun Mt. Carmel are battling on TV. The game features prized OU recruit, Blake Bell on the BC side.

The SEC is looking very overrated based off of this morning's games.
It's Bama and Florida and a pile of average (for any conference) teams.

LSU is looking better than I expected them to be this year. I think the Auburn talk will end after today.
Big test for Bama today in Oxford starting in 10 minutes, hopefully they can pull it out.

Tebow cleared to play tonight according to the CBS halftime show.
As an LSU fan, not sure if that makes me happy or not.

Montana takes care of Cal-Poly in Missoula 35-23. Once again, they go down early (10-0 this time) and come back strong. Future NFLer Marc Mariani (yes that's a prediction) had 6 catches for 200 yards and 2 TD's.
Next up a tilt with the Eastern Washington Eagles in Missoula.
Go GRIZ!

there has been some things that came out of orlando and gainesville that said he was fine by tuesday but him and Meyer were playing a game.
LSU better watch out for joe haden!
BTW ole miss basically gave the game to Bama with the 80089u019831 turnovers.
Bama looks pathetic today once someone gets pressure on the offense.

Nice job by Oregon to win despite going with a backup QB. I'm happy to see Costa get his first start and a win after three torn ACLs, but hopefully Masoli is back for the next game. Their defense looks great, allowing just 12 points in the last three games.

Hey Nick, Gotta poke fun at you since you said tebow was left in too long why is Bradford throwing a TD pass with 1:44 left in the game up by 20 something.

it was a hard game to watch.
Ole miss defense shows that you can beat bama by bringing pressure. it was like watching ole miss offense (high school offense) vs a big time defense.

Yeah, I figured he was probably OK when he was practicing mid-week.
Looks like this is going to be a good ol' slobberknocker.
BTW, there's no place better than Death Valley on a Saturday night!
