Same with my place, I think if there was some kind of obstruction the google car went through the back alleys. I can see just as the google car approaches my house, there is a moving truck rounding the corner. then you see the truck parked at my neighbors. It's kind of funny because when they took the pics, I was in the middle of tearing down the garage - so when you think you are pulling up to the front of my house, you get a nice shot of my garage with no roof and the dumpster that contained my roof!

the last 3 places i've lived all are not on the map. on two of them it seems they didn't drive far enough in, or maybe that part of the map isn't loaded yet, and on the third, my apartment is in from the street so I can't see it. I'm invisible!

Haha! I knew when I saw the Streetview car coming I had to get myself onto the internet and stand there like an idiot. Thinking back I should have made a silly pose or jumped into the air.

Is that your parents' house?

I noticed some places boot you into the back alley ... I fixed this by dragging the yellow dude around (the box in the lower right corner). Usually if I moved him slightly past where the bounce occurred it would work.

Man this is a time waster deluxe. I've travelled to all my old houses, friends and families houses etc. etc. The picture quality is very good and it's fun to just virtually drive around.

I can't even begin to think how useful this will be when travelling to somewhere I've never been. Visual representations of what I'll be driving to will be phenomenal, and not just overhead. Fantastic.

yeah, was like 1 PM and I was bringing bottles of water inside. I saw the funky car coming around and I wanted to do something but I had no idea how the camera system worked or when it actually snapped the pic so I could time something like jumping in the air like this

This is pretty awesome, I just went to Amsterdam, Montreal, and Toronto in Streetview. Nothing in South America or India yet. That would be insane on those roads! The only problem is I don't like the mouse point and click interface. It feels like I'm playing MYST. I want first person shooter controls!

Hmmm, my parents car is sitting in their driveway, but the license plate is fully visable.

yeah, they've missed a few, can see the license plate quite clearly of someone who was parked on my driveway. No idea who it was..... but only from one view, ironically the most head on one, the rest are blurred.

My street is messed up. It shows the alley in the next section over. Not sure why the street view dude was driving down there ...

Found this link showing the Toronto garbage strike. Sadly, that's a hockey rink full of garbage.
