Also in an effort to get everyone up to speed with the new sim I'm going to post any incomplete lines. Having to deal with these roster problems is pretty much doubling the amount of time it is taking to sim so we need everyone submitting proper lines as soon as possible.
Today's problems were
- Providence Bruins - missing a dman from various lines
- Manitoba Moose - short a bunch of LWs, i converted some centres to LW and auto'd the lines.
- Grand Rapids - missing a bunch of RWs, had to convert some centres. Farm lines were basically incomplete - had to be auto'd.

Stupid AHL. I auto'ed the lines before I sent them in...maybe didn't hit save? Sorry for the trouble.

The Canucks rarely win their first game of the season, so this was nice. "Spin-o-rama" Campbell with 3 points. PP was decent too. 3 assists for Zajac.

I knew it was going to happen; I move David Booth and he wins 1st star of the game. Nabokov gets a shutout but the Bruins only had 11 shots so I'll chalk that one up to luck.
Either way, it looks like my first line of Kopitar - Getzlaf - Nash will be staying together for good. I also mixed up my sliders, I'll have to try this method going forward.
Somehow all my tired guys are back to 100% so that's solid. Feels good to get in the win column, thanks Booth and Nabokov, now you can go.

Thrashers fall to 0-2 after a 4-3 loss to the Oilers. It seems every year the Thrashers get off to a slow start in the first quarter of the season. Got to get some wins in the next few games.

Bah, had opted to guess who'd score the first goal of the season, went with Brind'Amour and he scores the 2nd one.
Nice to start the season off with a win.

Nice to start the season off with a win against the Thrashers. Danny Heatley, Steve Weiss, and Sergei Gonchar all with 2 point efforts for the Oilers. After spotting the Thrashers a 3-1 lead we fought back to get the lead in the second and held on. Thrashers are a team that we feel we're pretty even with so it's nice to win the home game against a team like them.
Next we play Detroit and we better get used to it. We'll see them 4 times in our first 11 games as we have two sets of back to backs with them.

I don't know if it happened to you, but if a player's is under a certain OV, the sim will replace them with UNKNOWN PLAYER. I don't know what the magic number, but if you auto your lines... I'd reccomend going back in, as Jiri has pointed out as well, and making sure Mr. Unknown is not in the lineup.

Well we battled back in the 3rd but then lost out in OT. Pick up a point on the road isn't a bad start to the season. Jaybo and Crosby leading the way as both had solid games. Regehr was a -2, he struggled in the preseason and now is having problems to start the year...

Weird. I just updated my roster file and now there are unknowns. It didn't happen to be all pre-season, so I thought I was out of the woods. Thanks for the tips, all.
Sorry for the extra work.

The sim is behaving differently in the regular season when it comes to the unknown players - in the exhibition it seemed content just to play games with those blanks but now it's not allowing the games to be simmed that way.

Wild start the year 2-0 thanks to Tomas Vanek's OT winner...he's off to a great start for us so far.

Well, that ends the Great Keith Tkachuk On The Third Line Experiment. Ugly. That third line was -3. Out shot 11-27 is pretty bad. I don't think I've ever had that few shots on net. Pretty crazy that all 5 goals came in the first period. The team must have been too full of JBC's.
edit: But I would like to point out the PK:
Power Play
Montreal Canadiens - 0 on 12 Attempt(s) - 0.00%
Boston Bruins - 0 on 4 Attempt(s) - 0.00%
That is awesome.
