I can see the Pack winning this game. SF should have beat MIN, and I think GB is a better team than SF.

GB may be a better team, or not, but the SF run defense (4th in the league) is far better than the Packers(23rd in the league). This is where i see this game being decided.

Don't underestimate San Francisco. That team battles as hard as any team in the NFL does. I think Minny's D-Line up against a really battered Packers O-Line is going to put Rogers under a lot of pressure all night long. Another key for the Vikings is being able to run the ball and not force Farve to go up against the Packers secondary as the prime means of attack.

Should be a fun game, but I think the Vikings at home should be able to win this game.

The Rams and Chiefs are 0-4, and there’s no flashes of competency from either team.
Admittedly, both teams are in rebuilding mode, but honestly, could you make a playoff contender if you combined both of them?
Let’s see…
QB: Matt Cassel, Chiefs RB: Steven Jackson, Rams FB: Mike Karney, Rams
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs WR: Donnie Avery, Rams TE: Randy McMichael, Rams
LT: Branden Albert, Chiefs LG: Brian Waters, Chiefs C: Jason Brown, Rams
RG: Richie Incognito, Rams RT: Jason Smith, Rams

DE: Chris Long, Rams DE: Tyson Jackson, Chiefs DT: Glenn Dorsey, Chiefs
DE/LB: Leonard Little, Rams LB: Derrick Johnson, Chiefs LB: James Laurinaitis, Rams LB: Mike Vrabel, Chiefs CB: Brandon Flowers, Chiefs
CB: Brandon Carr, Chiefs SS: Mike Brown, Chiefs FS: AJ Otogwe, Rams
K: Josh Brown, Rams P: Dustin Colquitt, Chiefs

Would this team even be in the top half of the league? I’d like to think so, but the defense only has four players that are above average at this point.

The passing game looks fairly weak. Cassel is at best an average QB, likely not even that, and Bowe and Avery aren't exactly the types of veterans to help him out.

Defense looks good in about 5 years but right now probably too young and inexperienced.

not surprising with two teams rebuilding that there is some talent there but overall just way too young/inexperienced to be a good team this year.

I hope Peyton Manning never accomplishes that! So far he has beaten 31 of the 32 NFL teams in the regular season. Only one he hasn't? You guessed it, the Indianapolis Colts. I believe Tom Brady is also at 31.

McNabb is back at practice today. So are Westbrook and Curtis. That offense will be a force if it ever gets healthy.

I wasn't too impressed with Mark Sanchez diving into the knees of Jonathan Vilma during Sharper's INT return. He did the same thing to Demeco Ryans on a fumble return against Houston. There was no way Sanchez was going to catch Sharper, so taking out a blocker low is the next option?

He did get flagged for it, but if he doesn't get told to stop, it's not going to end up pretty for him. Defensive players remember that kind of thing, and will make sure he knows of their displeasure.

Dirty, Mr. Sanchez

Yeah I noticed that too and I'm thinking he would get an earful from the coaching staff. Risking injury by that bozo play? Dumb, dumb, dumb!!!!!!!!!!

Rumours that Crabtree may be coming to his senses. His agent is in SF to resume talks and Neon Dion made a few hints that Crabtree may be willing to negotiate.

And by negotiate I hope that means that with the 49ers on a role he may realize his bargaining position isn't as strong as he thought it was.

3 - This is (should) be a run first team. We have arguable the best run block line in the league, and Orton would do well as a play action passer.

Fun Stat: Orton in Week 4 had better stats than Tony Romo and Jay Cutler.

vs NE, @ SD are the next 2 games.

I am hoping for a 1-1 over the next 2 games. If after week 6 Denver is 5-1 then maybe some people might give them some credit.

Dallas is simply a poorly coached team with too many me first guys.
I'm looking at the 2 games a bit differently, but hoping for 1-1 as well. The New England game is gravy. If they can win that, great. If they don't, I don't care. They have to beat San Diego in San Diego. Must win if they want to be legitimized around the NFL.

They need to extend Marshall sooner rather than later.

Got to say I strongly disagree with Woodson on the Monday Night Countdown. I can think of atleast 5 QB's who are better then Rodgers when given time to throw.

Manning, Brady, Brees, Rivers... after that, it gets dicey... E. Manning, Big Ben, Palmer, Warner, Cutler, Farve, Flacco, Ryan, Shaub?

I don't know how many of those last 9 I would put ahead of Rodgers. E. Manning has been great thus far, but I'm still not sold he's definitely better than Rodgers, when given time to throw.

Who are your, say, 8+ guys (at least) better than Rodgers?

Rodgers answers Favre's drive and it is now 7-7. I want a shootout between these two.

Well Woodson said Rodgers was THE BEST QB in the league when given time to throw. That is what I strongly disagreed with. He's at best 5th or 6th.

I would say that Warner is for sure, Manning likely a little better at this point, Palmer before the injury for sure now maybe even.

Flacco, Ryan, Cutler and Big Ben all about even with Rodgers. I wouldn't have an argument with those guys being placed ahead of each other.

Favre definitely below Rodgers.

Rodgers holding the ball too long....again.

He is actually getting a bit of protection compared to the last couple games but he is still not realizing when its time to throw it away or start running.

Losing Blackmon, for what looks like a long time, is going to hurt as well.

And the Packers D is thisclose to getting to Favre...and putting him on his ass.

As i type this great play on D.

new game.

Peterson costs his team 7 points by getting stripped of the ball and it is returned the other way for a TD.

14-14 late in the 2nd quarter.
