Need short term rental ( really short!)

Our family is building a new home in Panorama Hills that will be ready the third week of Jan. We have just sold our present home in Coventry Hills and need to move out the end of Nov. We are looking for a house/condo for Dec. and Jan.
I have contacted a few ads and everyone has responded with a min. 6 month lease. We are working professionals that can afford the situation however, no one seems to want to rent for only 2 mths.

Does anyone have any advice to offer?

Maybe look for a hotel that has a monthly charge.

What about furnished suites?
