I'd really like to see a Stephen Harper/Lady Gaga piano duet.

Anyway. I was very distracted by her first performance. I noticed a few things with lighting a shadows and whatnot. I didn't think she did a very good job with it. I was blown away by the second one though. It was very good. Very buzz worthy.
She came out and denied it. That video has no real proof. I don't understand why society is so concerned with private matters of celebrities. If I was famous I would be thrown in jail a very long time for Sean Penning every POS tabloid/papparazzi buttclown out there.

She or her handlers are really smart.

Let's face it, our society is all about looks..and she's not all that great looking...

If she came out with her normal face and without the "over the top extravagance" to mask her appearance, people wouldn't really give her the time of day to listen to her music.

Now that she's got you hooked, she can show you her real talent.

Speaking of SNL, the digital short was hilarious! I love Andy Samberg.

The video where she had a penis isn't proof? It looked pretty conclusive to me. Anyway, if you don't like exposure. Don't be famous. It's part of the deal.

I wonder if the video with the "penis" was a publicity stunt. She could have put on a prosthesis just to get people talking.

That's what i think.
Given her record, seems like it is something she would do.

She is a she. Parts be damned, if they have both however that person chooses to identify is how they should be identified.

Childish bull**** like this is close minded and ######ed.

Whether you are a fan of pop music or not, it's virtually impossible to deny that Lady Gaga is one of the most interesting artists out there right now.

She's certainly not doing anything new - borrowing heavily from the Madonna school of shock/media manipulation (witness: the fact that people actually believe she's a hermaphrodite) - but Madonna's is a formula that is very difficult to pull off successfully (witness: Christina Aguilera).

She is very shrewd, and it seems people are finally starting to realize that she is not the vapid popstar she first appeared to be... that she may in fact be delivering a subtle critique of the whole modern celebrity obsessed media landscape. I mean, she wrote, recorded and released a concept album about fame prior to having any semblance of actual fame whatsoever. That's a ballsy move!

I'm sorry, but that was just painful to listen to.

She can put together about two lines that make sense, but not a third one. She can bang the piano a little, but nothing mentionable. She can sing somewhat, but has no mentionable vocal talent and no sense of style. (I mean that would've been cliched even before female solo artists with "attitude" became dime a dozen.)

Seriously, that was really really bad, I wouldn't normally ever listen to crap like that the whole way through.

The best marketed crap on the market today, that's the best she can do. That's interesting? Have I got a deal for you, I've got this hundred million dollar inheritance coming but I need some money to cover to legal fees, so if you could send me like 1,000 dollars I'll give it back to you ten times, promise.

Writing songs for the P***ycat Dolls? I mean sure, the songs are what they are best known for...

I don't really follow this stuff so I don't know about the hate. But those days when my boss puts the radio to a pop station the Lady Gaga songs are generally (certainly not all) better than the rest of the filler on that station.

IMO regardless the genre a good song is a good song, and she has a couple of good songs.
