LOL. It starts early in KC. Charles fumbles the opening kickoff. Giants recover at the KC 18.

TD Giants. I'm not feeling bad about taking the Giants to cover at all.

Ya, I read that article. I don't blame anyone for getting out of Oakland. I wish Garcia would have been the starter or at least there to push Russel, but it's pretty apparent that was impossible for him.

In your opinion, would I be a complete failure as a sports fan if I bailed on the Raiders? Not cheering against them, per se, but just cheering for another team? Like breaking up with a girl who is a trainwreck and you can't handle it anymore. You don't hate her and you hope she gets her life back on track, you just can't be dragged down any further?

Rick Reilly said in an article that Raiders fans have permission to jettison... I just don't want to do so prematurely.

Well at least the Chiefs won't get shut out. But yikes was that ever a horrible start. I think the Giants could put up 50 points today if they felt like it, but they'll go easy and settle for 35.

Terrible personal foul call against the Chiefs there. That was a completely clean hit by Page.

Yeah, I didn't like that call either. In the end it'll be the difference between a 42-3 or 35-3 loss. The Chiefs are an embarassing mess right now. Easily the worst team in professional sports and by a considerable margin too. What do they have like 1 first down so far. I can see the Giants running for about 300 yards today because their defence will die in the second half.

And good god, Cassel....try throwing a pass thats more than 3 fricken yards, especaially after you botch a snap. 28 million in guaranteed money for a guy to throw 3 yard passes. Horrible. They have found a way to make me feel sorry for Larry Johnson!!!

Whats up with Tennessee? They are getting destroyed by Jacksonville right now.

Put a fork in 'em. They're done.

Glad I changed my survival pick at the last minute (not that I had Tennessee, I didn't).

Good to see New England showing Baltimore it's place. That's one team that doesn't need a snowball of confidence behind it.

Titans went downhill when they ran that fake punt in the Hall of Fame Game.

Not that I expected SEA to take on Manning toe for toe, another frustrating game watching Wallace muddle and fumble through another game.

With just a little bit of luck, SEA could've had 14 points at half time. Wallace took to long to release the ball to a wide open receiver which would've had them at the 10 yard line. Instead, illegal forward pass, the penalty pushed them back, lost the down, and was out of FG range. This after Wallace stepping out of bounds, losing 6 yards, instead of throwing the ball away. Just brutal awareness. Then, 1st and goal, a penalty, a bad Wallace pass, and then a sack, and have to settle for another FG.

As good as the Colts were in the first half, on 2 of the 3 TD drivess SEA had them on the ropes with 2nd or 3rd and long and let them off the hook with penalties or poor tackling to keep drives alive.

Just now, the ability for Wallace to run (thats all he can do) for a first down, holds onto the ball and get its stripped. As poorly as that is, the more disturbing part that he's walking off the field and standing on the sidelines in a daze which can't inspire confidence from anyone that this guy knows what's really going on with the gameplan or what he really has to do. He has a built in excuse in being a backup, and his sympathizers ask what else you can expect from him, and point to the 1 out of 4 plays where he looks good....the other 3 misses, there are galring mistakes that 6 year backups shouldn't be making and are costing the team.

The sooner they clean house in SEA with the most important position of QB, the better. They've built up many other areas decently well, and spent a lot of money to do that. The ownership given too much free reign to Hasselbeck the past 2 years, simply based on Homgren's decision 8 years ago to go with Hasslebeck, and, because the option as a backup isn't that strong. This team isn't even close to being in the 2nd tier of NFL teams. Hasselbeck is brtitle, still making poor decisions, and has a poor attitude, and isn't a leader. Wallace hasn't had much mentoring from Hasslebeck, so his learning is by watching, and it shows in the bad decisions. The Seahawks aren't using Wallace's main strength which is his legs, but really, he is and will always be a career NFL backup, and he should be playing spot duty. Given his non-chalence when he makes critical mistakes, and dopiness when he makes bad decisions, the sooner they can get rid of that type of player, the better. Hasslebeck will be back when they play a team he thinks that they can beat, and if he loses, his ribs are still sore. No way he wanted to be out there and be embarrased by a real NFL Qb.

Unfair on SEA's defense for having an anemic offense, an offesnse with no leader. Looknig at the score you think that SEA's defense was crap when its not nearly as bas as the offense. I hope there's no token late TD for SEA, because that 3 points tells the whole story about this game.

Edit: Another clueless fumble on Wallace, who looks completely disinterested on the field and on the bench.

Love the NFL. The Colts just made me another 40 bucks, and Washington won but I knew they wouldnt cover. Only problem is now I wont win as much cuz the Browns decided to beat the Begnals for the 1st time in however long. Stupid Browns!

Todd Haley is treating an NFL game the way I would treat a game of Madden here in the 4th quarter. Going for it on 4th and 27 in his own end, onside kicks every kick off. Dude is so far out of his element it's sad.

Screens and Kyle Orton's Ortoness are killing the Broncos early.

Wow. For all of the talk about the Saints offense and the Jets defense, it's been the Saints defense that has been stealing the show.

A pretty complete game for Indy today. Manning was dynamite as always and Collie and Garcon both stepped up with some big catches.

I couldn't believe that Freeney played after he was supposed to be out for 3 weeks. Next week @ Tennessee before the bye week which is good as the defense can rest. Wow, 0-4 Titans vs 4-0 Colts next week. Should be a good game regardless of the records. Go Colts!

Broncos are killing themselves with penalties. Orton has missed a couple throws he needs to make, but the big problem today is penalties. Jeebus.
