I guess you can't drop a team after a win but having LSU in the top 5 is crazy.
They look like a borderline top 20 team so far this year.

My Tigers really need to find their offense. I was happy to see Charles Scott get in the endzone, I had planned on him having a big year.
LSU is definitely overrated, but if they can scratch up enough offense to put up 20 points next week, they can win. Florida isn't exacty lighting the world on fire this year.

color me one disappointed Sooner fan. The play calling has been very uneffective. How many times do we need to be stuffed running on 1st and 2nd down until we decided to throw on those downs. Of course the faster than crap Miami Line will get pressure when they know we are throwing on 3rd and 8.....
Miami D-Line is pretty darn good and I am not trying to detract from them but a lil imagination and a lil mixing it up could prob go a long way. Of course it doesnt help that our best receiver is out !
not to mention all these O line penalties.... and WTF 3rd and 9th in the 4th Quarter and your running a freaking draw... Kevin Wilson ( OU's O Coord.) is ridiculous.

FOR YOUR GUYS!!!! WE are struggling big time with the front 4 of Miami... They showed guys running free in the secondary but Landry has no time. Especially when its 3rd and 9 and they know its a passing down.

21-20... OU gave away the game with that fumble giving Miami the ball inside the 20.... Oh well 2 1pt loses with backup QB and a young young O -LIne and this game our best WR out...... It could be worse... If both these teams stay in tact they will be really really good for the next couple of years....
Send me the avatar U and ill settle my part of the bet. I am glad we didnt make a pube eating bet like other people in these forums haha!!! Good Game U I hope we see each other in a bowl game this year ( although its wishful thinking)

UGHHH damn it OU. That was a good game I was flipping back and forth between the coiler flame game and it.
I just am dissapointed in OU I know they should of played better but it didn't look like Jones was ready from the bit I could watch.
OU just needs to stay out of landshark stadium they dont do well there.

Here is how fickle and unsettled college ball can be.
180 hours ago, Cal was undefeated and ranked #5 in the nation and on a serious track to have a shot at the NC game.
Since then they have lost 2 games and been outscored 72-6.
great game tonight though...hoping Mr. Jones will at least acknowledge that Jacory Harris is pretty good, especially for being a true sophomore.

serious question. say Uf goes undefeated they will get a spot in the NT game what happens if OU beats texas and texas wins the big 12 who gets the other nod?
Va Tech
Miami
texas
USC?
Even better say UF loses before the sec championship and beats bama in the sec championship game then who are the teams out of
UF
Bama
Va Tech
Miami
USC
Texas
So far I am not sold on Iowa yet go into happy valley and beat mighty psu and then barley hold on against Arky state.
god I love college football
Go gators
Oh Miam is impressive to me now. I thought they were overratted and were going to lose to OU but shown that once they get punched in the face that they can come back.

If OU beats Texas then how does Texas win the Big 12??? they would have to hope for an OKlahoma Loss to Oklahoma State in Norman... That aint happening!
Transplant:
Jacory Harris is nothing special... He is a capable QB just like
Landry Jones but he isnt great. He can make easy throws especially when the DB's are playing off the WR all night. The only thing he can hit with the deep ball is players wearing the other teams jerseys.
And you guys can call me Nicker....or Nick... no need for the formal Mr. Jones!

jeesh nick I forgot about the bet and saw the miami stuff and it screwed me up.
I didn't even think about both of OU's losses being OOC games too. Good call on that one.
VT showed if you play press coverage the WR's from miami are average at best. They are a good team dont get me wrong I just hope we dont have to hear the miami god speak for another couple of weeks until another miami let down.
Next year if these kids can stay out of trouble they will be very good.

But isn't there a precedent that even if Texas doesn't win the Big12 it could still be in the national title game. Didn't that happen to Oklahoma a few years back?
I'm guessing if Texas doesn't win the big 12 then the winner of the Pac-10 (Oregon or USC) gets in.

Miami has way too many teams to jump over to make it to number two. They are unlikely to jump one loss teams: USC, Texas, Ohio St., Alabama, Florida or VT and unlikely to jump undefeated Boise St., Cinci or Iowa.
That is a lot of teams that have to lose with schedules that are fairly easy.
I think that a one-loss USC team ends up facing Florida. With an outside chance of it being Texas instead of USC.

Now if only Florida could get beat, the NCAA thread would be tolerable again.
Congrats to Miami and thank you for adding more proof that Oklahoma can't win important games.
