Sweet deal Wigan! Way to go Reds, now that was a game!
Torres just gets better and better, love seeing those games where he seems to be able to score at will.

What a friggin heartbreaking equalizer, brutal call by the ref on Richardson's red card, only at Old Trafford with Man U down a goal would that result in a red card. Oh and LOL at everyone who was laughing about Sunderland signing Bent for 10 million this summer..

It is amazing that despite having more talent than anyone else every single one of Man U's wins is because of the refs.
You would think that once and awhile they could manage to win a game themselves but it appears once again they won thanks to the refs.
I am not sure why they even bother paying big bucks for these guys when the refs will just hand them wins no matter who they have on the team.

Well they didn't even win this game over the lowly Sunderland, for a start...

Please explain how it was brutal. He received the second yellow for blatant time wasting and not allowing United a quick free kick. The ref was consistent in that he booked Ferdinand when he did it earlier. That sort of childish behavior should be booked every time.
To continue, you fail to mention the turned down hand-ball appeals as well as the discretionary call (I have seen that play go both ways on many occasions) on Sunderland's second. I think it was Foster's mistake (again) but have seen it go the other way....
You also fail to mention that it was the same man in charge that turned down a late penalty appeal in game one of this year as well as giving more than the benefit of the doubt to Liverpool in last season's thrashing.
Sunderland deserved all three but it was not to be for them today - and that was definitely not the result of a favorable call by the ref.

Ferguson breaks rules again, by publicly calling out officials. Will he be penalized? I guess we wait and see.....
Good job by Sunderland though!

Gunners eviscerate Blackburn this morning 6-2, they seem to have settled back in after the Man U/Man City losses.

Richardson was quite rightly sent off in my opinion. If you intentionally delay the restart of play, then you recieve a yellow card, it's as simple as that. He was already on a yellow so what was the referee supposed to do?

Well in my (somewhat biased) opinion Richardson wasn't deliberately time wasting, he was just kicking the ball back towards where the free kick should have been taken. It was nothing like Ferdinand's yellow card earlier which was a blatant, stupid and pointless time waste. Anyways there would have been a chance for Manure to score late on even if we had 11 players on so who knows if the result would have been the same if Richardson hadn't been sent off.. anyways..
Chelsea and Arsenal both looked pretty good today and Fulham had a great outing at West Ham with 10 men for most of the game, unlucky to give up the late equalizer

No, it was pretty obvious what his intent was. The free kick was awarded right on the sideline, but Richardson hit it about five or six yards towards the centre of the pitch.
What is Richardson doing playing left back anyway?

George McCartney sucks and we let Danny Collins go, Bruce said he wants his fullbacks to have pace and get involved in the attack, Richardson satisfies those but he is pretty brutal at the defending part of it all.

Spurs back in the top 3 after a draw at Bolton. Way better season than many expected so far. I don't think a top 4 finish is completely out of the question.

What a lovely set of results today! Harsh luck for Liverpool (not that there is anything wrong with that!).
