You guys are so cute...
Guess the Saints will have to run the ball. Wish they weren't so one dimensional.

So in 2007 Trotter was cut by the Eagles, then played 3 games for TB, got his knee scoped after that season, and didn't play at all last year?
Good luck with that.
Why would Garcia have signed with the Eagles? If he had an inkling he was going to only be there a few weeks, was he just needing a paycheque.

They speculated that he did it as a favor to Andy Reid knowing that he needed a backup QB who knew the system for their week 2 game when McNabb was injured and Vick was still suspended. The agreement was that he'd be released after two weeks when he was no longer needed. If he wants to catch on with a good team and not have to run for his life every week, this may be a better course of action for him. As the season progresses teams will have injuries at the position so maybe he wants to wait for an oppurtunity with a better team.

I don't understand Garcia's motivations. I wish he would have stayed in Oakland. Stupid circus-trick Russel.

Not sure what you mean.
he was cut by oakland and by philly....had no say in the matter (unless he requested his release from the Raiders, but IIRC he was cut because he wanted the chance to compete for the starting job but davis wouldnt allow it)
I do think he only wants to start though...and he should get a look at some point. geez..think T Bay could use him right now?

I hope you put 8 receivers on the field...than I only have to worry about two guys protecting your quarterback and we'll kick the bleep out of him.
Signed,
Rex Ryan.

Around here, it's understood that Garcia wanted to win the starting spot out of camp outright or be set free. I understand and respect that. But then to sign in Philadelphia? That doesn't make any sense. He was number 3 on the depth chart and knew that he was either going to be #4 or released once McNabb got healthy.
Why would he even sign there? Why not stay in shape and get his agent to work the phones a little over the next couple weeks. Now places like Tampa or Carolina look like good fits and I'm sure there will be more (shoot, Vinny Testaverde was getting calls not that long ago).
In the end, Garcia would have been closer to a starting job if he would have stayed in Oakland. I can understand him not wanting to, but going to Philly and now without a home just seems really poorly thought out.

Yeah, we can do something like a two week avy/sig bet. I'm not even a Jets fan and I don't even dislike the Saints but I'm buying the Rex Ryan hype. What the hell my team sucks maybe I should jump the Jets bandwagon full time.

Two weeks?? You're playin prison rules! Alright I'm in, chalk me up on the big board!
I like the Jets too actually. I liked em back when Curtis "My Favourite" Martin was runnin loose, and they had Coles, Chrebet and Becht, with Vinny slingin the rock. Who's your team again?

Be sure to check out the pink cleats/gloves being sported by several players this weekend!
The NFL is supporting breast cancer awareness throughout the month of October, I believe. Brees will be sporting the pink trimmed cleats, Bush is wearing pink trimmed gloves and is waffling on the cleats....

Who's the worst team in the NFL right now? If you said Kansas City you're right on one account maybe both (Thankyou Cleveland Browns!). The days of Neil Smith, Derrick Thomas, Dan Saleaumua, Bill Maas, Deron Cherry, Albert Lewis dominating on defence while Christian Okoye and Barry Word pounded the ball are long gone.
I don't know what their plan is , they'll be picking top 3 again, maybe this time they'll stay away from LSU. Right now they're an absolute mess. They might as well wear pink uniforms on Sunday because the Giants are going to absolutely torture them.

Haha ya I used to just rip on my buddy for following it. Actually the only reason I signed up was back when Malcolm Jenkins was a holdout and one of the Times-Picayune writers mentioned he was constantly tweeting so I thought I'd check it out to see how close he was to signing. One thing led to another and now I have a few Saints on there. Haha I'm still ashamed, I won't even check it at school because I'm too embarassed.
