My main beef with CP right here in this thread. New guy joins the board and starts a pretty silly topic and everyone just mocks the hell out of him. Yes I get the fact that the mocking has a lot to do with this being a stupid thread. But it this was one of the CP veterans, there would be a couple mocking posts, but not even close to amount that are in this thread. People would give real answers. All you CP "vets" lecture and whine about the board going downhill and missing the good old days, but yet you contribute to this piece of trash.
for the record, I'm 27.

Not sure if serious.

25, welcome to CP and ignore the bitter responses in this thread. Some people just get off on jumping on the new guy. Consider it a hazing ritual, and move on.

existing in 5 dimensions, I am able to move back and forth through time, I am freely able to exist in ages I have experienced, and those I may experience.

Yeah, well this has much more to do with the way an internet messageboard works and much less to do with CP. I saw you bitching in the FoI thread along these same lines and I thought the same thing as I do now... People that want to join a community don't just start walking around asking some kind of mass question. They get a feel for the place, pick up what they can, then gradually become noticed enough that their question gets answered by the masses (see: troutman's CP card thread).
This isn't some kind of mockery of the poster, necessarily. It's the fact that nobody knows him from Adam, and quite frankly isn't going to answer a question like that from someone so new. But if a longtime poster asks the same question, everyone is much more likely to take it seriously because everyone knows it's not a fly-by-night troll that'll be banned tomorrow.
So get your panties unbunched and take a look at how an internet community works. If every new poster came along and asked this question this place would be a mess. New posters should have the patience to at least lurk a bit and get an idea of who's who and how things work. A new poster asking this question is reminiscent of jumping in a 1995 AOL chatroom and asking A/S/L.
And in case you don't get my point quite yet, let me ask you this: would you just mosey on in to a bar and ask everyone who they are or how old they are? Or would you frequent that bar a few times and get an idea of what the place is about before you start asking things like that...?
Just saying.

alright, i get what you're sayin buy how you equate starting a thread asking how old you are to going to a bar and saying the same thing is beyond me and plain ridiculous.
Plenty of people on CP have pride in the fact that this board isnt like flames.com or sportsnet's board of HF......why are those people who want CP to be the best board on the net contradicting themselves. Because by mocking this new poster is doing exactly that.
Never again will I so blatantly flout the well known internet hierarchy by joining a forum and starting a thread without first seeking the approval of the people who've spent the most time there.
Thanks for the lesson "CrusaderPi," I hope that I can fully absorb it in order to do a better job in the future of impressing people like yourself.
To everyone else.. thanks for the responses and please keep it up.
