Habs spank the Leafs 6-1. We outshot the Leafs 37-20 and went 3 for 8 on the PP. All 3 lines seem to be clicking rather well and Hiller has been quite impressive in the pre-season. The most important thing is Rick Nash and Ryan Getzlaf appear to have some great chemistry going as they are #1 and #3 for scoring in the league right now. I'll cross my fingers that this carries over into the regular season.

We're doing a good job of controlling these games. Last minute powerplay goal to kick the Flames square in the groin. I love it. Ha ha stupid Flames. Tommorrow I bring out the goons with the sole intention of thugging it up against the Wild. Prepare to die Minnesota sissy boys.

Although the Islanders lost in a shootout today Conklin's play was better than average. There is some talk now of Dipietro and Conklin sharing #1 duties (barring any injuries). Also it looks like the 2nd line of Weight-Rissmiller-Belanger were upset about being demoted and came up with a good showing at home taking 2 of the 3 stars of the game. Also impressive for the Islanders was coming back from a 2-0 deficit.
