EA is not purposely singling you guys out....it has to be a problem on your end. What's your service provider? Are all required ports opened? Ethernet cables all secure? No background downloading going on?

Had some good games last night. (Also the longest EASHL game I ever played... I think we FINALLY scored 1 or 2 min into 4th OT). Too bad that I'm going to take a few days off from EASHL to prepare for my exam.

I was gone the past few days but will be back online tonight. A few points:

- Do you need a specific Playstation mic/headset or will any USB mic/camera work?
- If Jobo abolished the pro league for know, does that mean I received a new invite for the casual team until October?
- I see I am earning upgrade points, do I go to my profile in the game and add them there to improve my skills?
- Merc, should I play D or wing?

-any bluetooth mic will do but if you get a USB you don't need to charge it. If you get a USBmic/camera it will work, but it will be hard to hear teamates coming through the speaker...might have to turn down all the in game sounds.
-ya everyone should be on the casual team now, message if you didn't get an invite
-make sure these points are for your online be a pro and not offline. you can also add boosts through the equipment screen.
-up to you really. d is probably the hardest position in the game next to goalie.

I understand it isn't some conspiracy against me. I had no troubles with 09.

But I have checked everything I can on my end. Different routers, different configurations, wireless and plugged in, even plugged directly into my modem.

Still having problems, and holy lord thunderin' jesus am I frustrated. Extremely bothersome.

Go to our website(on the first post in this thread) and log into your EA account. You should be able to see the invites.

Or you can go in game and go to your player hub and accept the invite there.

Man, I wish we had our G and skater types on the EA site. It'll give us a better feel for who should play with who. Based on how you guys played last night, that set up works real well. Others....not so much..

No, it has to do with EA severs being completely crap. This isn't a PS3 problem, I am a 360 user, and it happens to me all the time. I can play a maximum of 2 hours on NHL games before eventually something crashes, I can play 6+ hours of Gears of War, Call of Duty, Halo, Left 4 Dead, etc. before something crashes.

If it had to do with my end, why does a game with 4 people TOTAL lag on NHL 10 that uses EA servers? When I can go to Call of Duty 4 (which is 2 years old) and play a 8 vs 8 game with NO LAG at all?

Edit: Don't send your game in, connecting to EA severs, dropping from games, etc. has nothing to do with the game disc.

I've been having no problems after messing around with my router and I share the connection with my brother who also plays on the team. The only thing that stalls the game for me is if I access the XMB menu ingame or quickly mute/unmute the mic. That I can blame on EA.

I went into the dressing room around 11pm last night and it said there were 4 waiting to play but I couldn't see anyone. I went back in and out, restarted the game, and still the same problem. Needless to say, I couldn't play. Did this happen to anyone else last night? I'll try again this evening but earlier.

Here's something strange. I have been accessing the XMB in game, sending messages, etc. , and I have not had a problem.
