Otat security virus

A friend has the Total Security virus/spyware/misleading program. How do you get rud of it? Norton isn't finding it.

Edit: the subject line should say Totalsecurity virus. That will teach me to type on my iPhone and not proofread.

Does anyone know about this virus??
