Flames with their 2nd straight preseason win, this time over the Cannots. We might not make the playoffs but at least we are going to be competitive this year.

The Wild with our most impressive outing of the pre-season. Shea Weber looks poised to have a monster campaign leading the CPHL in dman scoring in the exhibition season.

All lines clicked in this one - with offensive contributions from each unit.

Flattering score against a powerful Kings team, they really dominated us. Maybe soon the Ducks players can learn how to not get suspended and actually suit up for games! (Cough Pronger/Laperriere Cough!)

Nice come from behind, but then we let them take the lead again, then we came back again then Lombo scores the OT winner.

If I have not mentioned it before I want to say that the game details and play by play are amazing.

Flyers win the game easily 7-1. 2 players from wach of the top 2 lines clicked while Doan and Kessel were shutout. Good all-around display.

Phantoms also win.

3 more pre-season games left. 2 against un-beaten Rangers and one against powerhouse Pens. Now comes the test.

Wow, my 2nd line got creamed, all -4. Thanks for the reality check, we thought we were doing ok until that one. Interesting to see how much home ice advantage plays a factor (in my games anyway). Went from winning 5-2 at home to losing 7-1 on the road to the Flyers. The change in coach strategy looks to be a factor too. The 1st game the Flyers paid no attention to defense to setting defense to a 4 in the second game, in turn we paid less attention to offense in the big loss. The odd thing is getting way more goals with way more attention to defense for the Flyers, although the change in league settings may be a factor as well.
