And i am no Miami fan...belive me...but Jacory Harris is a sophomore who is lighting it up against very good teams.

I would say that there are teams out there with one win that alone is more impressive than the two wins that Miami has.

Again the fact that they were top 20 in the first two weeks of the season isn't impressive. Especially when both have shown that they are unlikely to be top 20 at the end of the year.

He is lighting it up so far but his throws have been less than impressive and right now he gets by on physical talent much more than skill and those are the guys that tend to get in trouble when faced with quality defenses.

I'm going to have to back Moon here. If he still lighting it up and wins his next two games then I will change my tone. I just dont think they are that good.

the last two years have been nuts. Mich started it by losing to app state and all the wierd losses.

USC was a good team and I won some money I bet on SC tonight and thought that they would keep it close let alone win the game.

Snead just lost his heisman chance.

I'm going to the Bama arky game this weekend so it should be a good one. I think its a bama 10 point win nothing more. The bama offense is a running offense and they have a stout D.

I also scored tickets to the LSU bama game and the TENN bama game for free too.

This is going to be a fun season.

I wanted to take my camera to the game this weekend but its suppose to rain once again so I'm not taking it. I went to the FIU game but they said it was going to rain so I didn't bring it that game either.

Sorry Moon, they're right. You've either got a hate on for the ACC or Miami. Either way, they have outperformed expectations so far this year.

Also, the Mighty SEC #4 Ole Miss lost to south carolina. This is more for PIMking, what is the excuse there? BEcause it seems when an SEC team loses, it's because they didn't play well or they had great competition. I watched the game, that was just two crappy teams.

I wasn't necessarily picking on moon or anyone, but, when I hear someone say that beating 2 ranked teams in a row is no big deal, and, FSU isn't any good (despite them beating BYU) I just think they're basing their entire arguments on NCAA 10 for ea sports or something. It's just nonsense

I bet on the cocks tonight and won. I dont think Ole Piss is good enough. I also think they are this years UGA. beat the piss out of a team in a bowl game and come in the next year ranked high with high hopes and fail.

OBC has some talent down in columbia. I thought it was a good game also florida doesn't play ole miss but they play USC so it works out better for me.

As for the U troll that just happend to show up and then all of a sudden is a Thug U fan its amuzing.

They exceeded my expectations this year so far but we will see how they stand over the next two weeks. I also think its funny having a canadian trying to bash my football skill esp college football skills since I'm in the south. You know the as canada is to hockey the south is to football.

I also think its funny that thug U is back but are only drawing what 50k a game? hahahaha randy shannon is a tool too.

BTW Thug U fan the seminole war canoe is in Gainesville buddy. Do you know what that is?

I'm glad you can discuss football in such a civil manor. I'm also pleased to know that since my opinion varies from yours, I am a troll. Thank you for putting me in my place with that logical, well constructed argument.

Edit: Yes, I aware of what the seminole war canoe is. It's too bad the rematch wont be for a while, but when it happens you wont have Tebow

I think miami is good and they beat two decent teams so far.

I dont know if they are "national championship" material as of now.

Besides no other team would of had the same schedule that they had and started the year unranked and jump all the way to 9. So if Iowa did that they would be right around 19ish.

1- I needed a username and went with the U as I am a college football fan and Miami and UK are 2 of my favourite teams
2-UF and Miami are big rivals but not as big as you are saying.. they just dont play enough against each other

Look back in my post when did I ever say those were "bad wins"?

I think they look good. I think miami is over achieving big time this year because I didn't think they would sniff the top 15

As for the rivalry its kinda fizzeled over the last couple of years but we still hate each other. no way around that.

I agree, and I'm sure it wont take much for it to be rekindled, but realistically FSU and Miami is the big rivalry in Florida.

You didn't say they were bad wins but you tried to diminish them. Georgia Tech is a strong BCS team, and Florida State defeated a fantastic BYU team.. so those 2 wins are very very big in my books.

As for over achieving.. maybe. time will tell tho

and yeah UK wildcats... I became a fan a few years ago when they had little, woodson, woodyard. the last second win over Louisville is one of my favourite football endings ever

I love it, the college foozeball thread always turns to anger! Long story short:

Miami has a big test with VT and OK coming up. If they take those two, they are instantly NC contenders and Harris is a Heisman front runner.

If they lose to OK (I'm assuming they beat VT) Then they are still a top 25 team easy, and are coming back. Randy Shannon is a hell of a coach PIM, you have to understand that. They are no longer thug U, and that is in big part to Shannon. In the old world Marve is still at Miami and they put up with his crap.

Totally unrelated, I love how Michigan is playing now. Tate Forcier is a gem as a true freshman, and I think they will contend for the Big Ten (eleven) title. Penn State is overrated, and I hate Pryor with a passion. He should have gone to Michigan, the jerk.

FSU was a bigger win for the fact that they are a yearly rivalry. I dont care if your team wins by 1 or 100 a rivalry win feels so damn good. It also doesn't matter if said team sucks and you win its a rivalry win.

UF doesn't play miami until 2013 I think.

Pryor is a mess, and partly to blame is the coaching system in place at ohio state. Forcier I agree is a beauty, his improvising skills were awesome.. and he didn't make any bad decisions either.

holy i think the state of florida would explode for that game. thank god the NC is in LA this year lol. could you imagine the orange bowl site for a NC game between miami and florida, after the teams havent played in 2 or 3 years? yikes.

Shannon is a good coach but that doesn't stop me from thinking hes a tool.

Randy can also recruit with the best of them too. I just hate that school and everything about them. and that stupid "U" symbol they use lol

This is what makes college football so f'n great. there is so much passion.

mich looks good too. I hope they can beat OSU this year that would get sweatervest fired I bet.

Hell with that put the game in tampa. thats about right in the middle of the two.

They are young very young next year will be a strong year for thug U.
