Those carry over from any type of OTP games since those are your career stats.

Also helpful tip, you will want to hold L2 when trying to shoot loose rebounds so you can check the opposing team players.

Last, and this goes for everyone, don't bother playing teams that have two man. They don't count.

Thanks, that will prevent me from taking lots of interference penalties!

Let this be echo to everyone, myself, veteran players, and anyone else trying to make the pro team. If you don't pass and try to make it a one man show on yourself, don't expect to be invited to the pro team. Team play is something I'm very critical at overloooking and if you hold the puck and do things yourself too much and give away too many turnovers, that's going to hurt your chances greatly.

Lets make effect use of everyone guys. It's a team game, and it's much easier to play hockey with 5 players against 5 other players then 1 player against other 5 players. The times we have got the puck to the point and get good traffic at the net, it has normally resulted great for us. If we're not doing this when the chance it open, we're hurting ourselves from winning games.

guys we are not very good right now. after all the talk about using the points we still seem to be relying on nothing but the pretty little dink and dunk plays down low. and they just aren't working. they are nowhere near as effective as last year. while i certainly don't expect everything to flow through the point, we have to figure out something that will work down there.

defensively we stink too. i feel like every time i try to jump in the play offensively or take a chance against a guy that it will lead to a goal. so many time i will be in front of the goal with 3 guys crashing the net. i can try and hit as many as i can but its often overwhelming.

and just so i don't look like i am blaming all our problems on others, i know i need to turn the puck over less and be more mindful of when i got for hits or pinch. there just seems to be so much wrong with us at the moment.

Agree. There is only so much one defenceman can do when there is 2 to 3 guys crashing the net.

On offence, it seems like we are trying to do the cross cease passing (no matter what the other team is doing on defence). Sometimes, it does work very well.
I can understand why some players are not very confident with D-men handling the puck at blueline since a bad turnover usually become a breakaway. (I turned the puck over at blueline many times and I am working hard to fix that)

Hopefully we will improve on our offence and defence when we play more games together.

Well how do we expect defense to get better at handling the puck when we are not passing to them enough when the chance is there. Might as well take out lumps now because it at least gives us practice for our defensemen to be more poised with the puck.

Well played my first game last night, and it went ok but I noticed it was pretty laggy. Is that normal for EASHL or more my connection? It's usually all good for 1v1's online. And I found it hard to hear other people over the game sound does everyone just turn it off or is there a separate mic option I'm just not seeing?

In the audio device settings you can set where the input and output of the chat goes assuming you have a mic/headset.

True enough. I enjoyed the games last night with less pressure cause I could practice the one-time slap shots from the point (still a work in progress) and standing up at the blueline to block the passes out of the zone.

Any tips on the one-time slap shots?

What i do for now is:
1. make sure i have clear passing lane
2. kinda stay still once its clear
3. hold vision control
4. hold right stick up (and aim) when i see a pass coming my way.

But this doesn't work very well if the pass is coming from the right (i'm left handed) because I will end up doing a backhand. And sometime I end up doing 1-time wrist shot.

I had a very hard time doing 1-time slap when i am moving around so I think staying still is easier.
If i have to move around, i just take control of the puck then shoot.

Please let me know if there is any better way to setup 1 time slap.

Is that what you did when you scored off my pass the other day? Because that was great.

I think positioning is important and so is the quality of the pass.
