I do like how they say Tim TEbow will be the best football player because he was a QB of possibly 3 natl title teams and has a heisman. They kicker is , in 2006 Chris Leak was the starting QB and won the MVP of the Natl title game HAHA....

And I cant see how Tebow and Mccoy can be on the tops of the Heisman Ballot on Espn right now... There are a lot better players with better numbers right now.

They are there because of the hype. As I said earlier Best should be the top guy right now. But, as i think last year should have some say in where players are ranked right now i think Tebow and McCoy should still be top 5 and if they can turn it around go back on top again.

Yes I have lived in florida, That is were I grew up. I have been to gainesville and the swamp numours times. SO if your trying to pick my fanhood apart I applaud you on your failure.

I'm a chiefs fan. Dont ask me how but we suck big time I'm no were near a fair weather fan. I lived in florida during the SC year of the lightning. Yet I hate the bolts. I have been a florida fan for years since I can remember.

We have had bad years aka the zook years. That guy could recruit but couldn't coach himself out of a paper bag. He was horrid and I'm glad hes gone.

I was lucky enough to grow up in the spurrier years and that got me hooked. Im not that old (24) but I guess you must think I'm a fair weather fan. But its just funny that UF is still number 1 with out a loss and Oklahoma aka north texas has a loss and right now out of the BCS NC picture. They could jump right back in with a win at Miami ( I hope they smack those punks right in the face) and a win in texas vs texas.

I just love your envy about the gators its almost comical. Your squad lost to this team last year but this year they are missing Harvin, and Murphy.

Deonte Thompson will be better than Harvin and he didn't play a single snap vs TENN and Hernadez is the best TE in the country. He has the swine flu and a couple of other starters had fevers of 102*.

I actually like the way meyer and CO. Hold the playbook back at the beginning of the year so they dont give teams more ammo. The loss to OLE MISS last year was a fluke. They made a couple of bad turnovers and just over looked Ole Miss. Ole miss was a very good team and beat the snot out of TT in the cotton bowl.

OU got to the NC game last year and lost. They looked very good in the first half and I thought the game was over but Tebow put the team on his shoulders and carried them to the win.

I am tired of hearing about how great the kid is with the religion crap and his squeaky clean record but hes one of the best in college football ever. I guess that just so hard for you to get your head around. I think Sam Bradford is a STUD. Hes will be a HOF NFL QB barring injury. I think its sad that your squad has to go probably the rest of the year with out him. Oklahoma is a talented team but your envy and pure hatred for a non rival team that beat you in the national championship is getting a little old.

Worry about beating Texas and Miami before you worry about UF. The miami team that you scheduled wasn't suppose to be even above .500. Its turned in OUs favor that they are actually good. Makes your sched look better.

UGA is coming around and UK isn't someone to sleep on either.
SC looks like a solid D team like they have been since OBC got there.
FSU just embarrased BYU again the team that beat your squad.
that same team lost a nailbiter to Thug U.
LSU looks good and florida has to go to the toughest place to play in death valley in a couple of weeks.
Plus if florida makes it to the SECCG they will play LSU agian or Bama or OLE Miss.

Bama has a tough test this week with Arkansas coming to town. But Bama only played VT so far and it was a good game but Bama's O doesn't look like they are going to be something you can count on.
The Defense on the other hand is a good one.

At least we dont have to hear all the Utah trolls talk about the NC this year.

I think Jahvid Best has looked sensational. It's tough for a non-QB to win the Heisman, but if Cal beats USC and makes some noise for a NC bid, he's got to be in the conversation... and he's legit - played decent teams and got his yards early in the game and not just to pad stats.

1st off... Tebow wasnt even your best player last year. Percy Harvin was. I guess talk radio is telling you your back this year is better than Percy but that has yet to be seen. Tebow has won a heisman and a natl title. That is a pretty good resume. I say only 1 title because technically Chris Leak was the starting QB and MVP winner of the 1st natl title. Most people seem to forget this fact when claiming Tebow will have 3 national titles and a heisman so he should be annointed Jesus NCAA football.

Yeah and we have to play Texas every year. You get to rotate and play a schedule like you have this year every couple of years. .... and we have won what 6 championships since the Big 12 started...

So in an earlier post you make fun of BYU to losing to an unranked team at home and here bc its Florida its just a fluke and that loss is OK??? Which is it? FLorida didnt deserve to be the title game last year .. and neither did OU . I fully admit that but you seem to think the gators still did even though they lost to an unranked team at home albeit a Fluke or not. But Tebow was a critical part in the 2006 championship and is blowing up stats qbs just dont get. His turnover or lack there of are just amazing.

Colt McCoy is a good QB a very good one a matter of fact but I think hes going to turn into a rex grossman type of QB. just wont be able to hack it in the NFL. But that doesn't matter since its college football we are talking about.

Florida has 8 SEC champioinships. all since 1991.
Oklahoma has 6 Big 12 Championships in 7 tries all since 96 since the big 12 had a championship game.

Oklahoma has more history but god they were horrible after swizter was gone up until Stoops came in.

I'm not saying Oklahoma has more history that they do.

You can't call Young a ghetto QB when comparing him to Tebow.

Young and Tebow were effective college QBs because of their ability to take off. Neither is considered a pure passer by any stretch of the imagination.

Can we maybe drop this topic? It would be nice to discuss more college football other than a pissing match between Oklahoma and Florida.

Florida deserved it so said the coaches and BCS computers and the AP. they absolutly dominated the compition the rest of the year beating LSU silly previously ranked number 1 UGA was pimp slapped and beating the number one team in the country in the SECCG.

I'm not saying OU didn't deserve it but the 3 way tie deal in the big 12 was a joke. OU got the better end of it.

I thought it was funny that OU lost but I dont think it was less on losing bradford more of being the first game of the year. I dislike BYU and ND and BC I hate private religious schools playing along the line with public schools its not right.

Also have to say that Ole miss was unranked when they played florida then Bitched slapped TT in the cotton Bowl.

I have stated numrous times that I am happy that Tebow is leaving. Brantley is a better qb other than a FB that can throw the ball.

I'm also suprised the was Tenn played the game. UF had some injuries and people out with the swine flu. a win is a win especally agianst a big rival.

I know Texas fans would be happy if they beat a unranked ou by ten as OU would be happy that they beat an unranked texas by 10 Hell that goes for OSU, Nebraska for your boys too. Its a big rival and no matter how bad the other team looked your happy for a win. I'm impressed the way Florida ran the ball in the game. With the best WR being hurt and the other big receiver in hernadez being sick they played rather well other than Tebow. Tebow threw a pick and fumbled the ball on TENN 10 yard line.

M. Kiffen had almost a perfect game plan agianst florida and L. Kiffen had a great one also. Making the game a very short one I dont blame meyer for running the ball and controling the game.

I just dont understand how you have so much hatred for Florida. yes they loss to Ole miss by 1 uno ein point. (same game plan that TENN had last week but meyer learned his lesson by not trying to air it out) but OU lost by what 10 points to Texas?

There were 3 teams I wanted UF to play in the NC game this year. Either Texas, OU again, or USC.

Looks like its either texas or OU if Ou beats the crap out of miami like I think they will and beats texas this year.

This is what makes college football much better than pros we have so much more to talk about and every game matters. Us americans (more so the ones below the mason dixon line) bleed football over any other sport like canadians argue world juniors and chl hockey.

I think Florida will be fine. I think this was a close enough call for them to get their heads back on right and ready to go. Spikes has a sprained achilles tendon and thompson (next harvin) has a hammy tweak and the other boys come back from the flu I think we will be fine.

UF plays LSU in two weeks. at LSU thats going to be a great game! there is a part of me that wishes that a couple of the big 12 teams like OU and Texas would boot teams like arkansas miss state or vandy out and make one super conference. That would be one of the greatest things possible.

Florida got the luck of the draw this year with a less than stellar sched.
Utah was suppose to play UF this year but backed out on the contract just like Arkansas did to OU. Troy is a cupcake but its not like they are playing Northern iowa, Kent state, eastern mich, ohio, toledo.

It would be nice if UF played every SEC team but they would have to kick out FSU. I'm more pissed that we dont get thug U this year. on a couple of my gator boards im on I get a ton of thug u trolls talking about how we are lucky we dont play them. Its a rivalry but its just no there every year. I wish all florida school USF, FSU, UM and UF played eachother every year. but thats just not going to happen.
