I have rented it to me another week to figure stuff out as the game doesnt work with the bitemark

Invites will go out on Sunday... unless someone else wants to start the league before then. Actual games are starting Oct 2 though. (I know it's a long wait, but it's what you guys wanted. The date has been set for over a month now, can't really just change it up.)

I think so. I had a bunch of people respond asking for invites after I first posted about the test league, but they were all pretty vague about what they wanted invites to. It sounded to me like they were asking for invites to the main league.

I'll start up both leagues on Sunday.

Again, though, this second league is not meant to be used for advance practice with your main teams... anyone joining will have to pick a completely different team to play with. It's just going to be 5 teams, everyone plays each other once, and then a short playoff. I want to see how the playoff transition works, and I want people to fire off a bunch of trades. I just want to see how everything works. How much in-game notification there is of different events, etc.

This will tell me how hands-on this whole thing is going to be. If the game doesn't notify everyone of trades, then someone else is going to have to post all the trades (for example). Same with injuries, suspensions, call ups (actually, are call ups even allowed?), etc.

Another thing I want to test is what options we have when someone doesn't show up to play their game (or if they fall off the Earth completely). Can we boot/replace them? Are we forced to just sim their games?

How is this going to work? Do we have to show up for games at a specific time of the day, do we get the entire day/week to play the game? If game times are too stringent I can see this being a big problem.

I figured we would go like this: Find out who you play on NHL 10 (through the game), come to CP and message the guy to arrange a time to play.

I dont think there is a set schedule. We just play each other 3 times

Hey guys, I need to bail. I just don't have the time I thought I was going to have.

I've made arrangements with 3 Justin 3. He's going to take over my team and look after organizing everything. He'll bring someone up from the waiting list to take over his team as well.

Have fun guys! It should be a great season. I'm actually giving my 360 to a buddy to hang onto for a while. It's just too much of a distraction for me, and I have way more important things to focus on right now.

(Sorry, I realize this is an incredibly flakey thing to do... but between two jobs and university... I just have other priorities right now.)

As the new commissioner I am excited to be starting this league. I made the league, it is called "CalgaryPuck" and the password is "puck". When you join, just make sure you pick your correct team. For the users that left, or are waiting, I will try and sort it out, but will have to do it tomorrow as I am leaving for the game now, and have homework later tonight.
