OK, I have the .... inconsistent... Jason Campbell on my fantasy roster. He is playing the Rams, so I've gotta play him, right?
Other options - Eli Manning vs Cowboys; Cassel v Raiders (I dumped Delhomme; I would have won week 1 with zero points from him, the -14.46 he got meant I lost by 13.8)

The Chiefs have not confirmed if Cassel will play on Sunday or not. Even so, the $63,000,000 QB has a $3 offensive line and $3 wide recievers. I wouldn't risk it myself.

May not be a bad option at all.
Byron Leftwich looked pretty good against them last week, and his receivers are no better than those in NY....and Manning did pretty good against a far better defense in Washington.
just some food for thought.

He was a (very) late round pick-up and I figured if the NFC West was as bad as it looked it may be worth a start or two. Delhomme would be my guy for the season, with a strong running game, Smith and Muhommad wide and a team that had made the playoffs around him, he would be a steady if unspectacular choice. Nope.

Well you never know, but at this point I would sit him. All the reports out of training camp were that Cassel did not distinguish himself from Brodie Croyle or Tyler Thigpen, which doesn't sound very promising. Funny thing is, if you read the Chiefs fans blogs, some people actually feel the Chiefs would have won versus the Ravens if Cassel was playing. Talk about blind faith.

You'd be better off picking up Jamarcus Russel on waivers and starting him against the Chiefs than playing Cassel. The Chiefs inability to rush the passer is epic. Russel isn't that good, but the Chiefs are worse.

Exactly, Joe Flacco looked like Joe Montana on Sunday. Jamarcus Russel will probably look like Steve Young this coming Sunday versus the Chiefs.

McNabb is down injured for me. I have Hasselbeck as a backup and picked up Cassel off waivers. Question, should I drop Cassel and pick up Garcia instead?

Good! Derrick Brooks should be playing in this league. After reading an article on him last year, before he played Minnesota, and seeing him contain AP. Gave me a new found respect for the way this guy approaches the game.
EDIT: Found it. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vau...9153/index.htm
And it wasn't him preparing, it was him after playing AP.

I was surprised the Saints didn't sign Brooks after having him in during camp. He must have been driving too hard a bargain.

Adam Schefter tweeted that he would be surprised if anyone claimed Hank Baskett today. Doesn't look like any teams want to assume his $1.5 million salary.

Jets have been fined a total of $125,000 for not revealing Brett Favre's injury last season.

I hope that is an incentive for other teams to be more honest about their injury report.

Garcia won't play for the Eagles unless Kolb goes down as well. He'll most likely be released next week when Vick gets reinstated.
