Yeah the stupid crash wiped away couple of hundreds of my posts. That's when I decided not to be a post whore ever again.... The servers didn't crash since (or at least bad enough for us to re-register)... Stupid servers!

I wish my brain had a refresh button so I could remember some of the epic threads over the years. There have been many great threads but for some reason I can only remember a poster named "The President" who seemed to bring much hilarity to the site.

I wanted to go over some of those threads for good times' sake but for some reason the search doesn't find anything by The President. What's going on?

Yup, I lurked for a long time- 2 years or so- and I still had a pretty rocky start. In fact, after almost 4 years of being a member, I still get reemed out from time to time. Usually for personal threads in the OT, not so much FOI stuff.

It seems daunting at first but after a while you realize that you are basically anonymous and anyone who thinks you are an idiot can't really do anything about it except rag on your posts.
I was always worried that people would think I was an idiot. Once I realized no one cared I started to post a lot more.
Then people really did realize that I'm an idiot and now I wish I could go back to being ignored.

I abhor the culture of drinking that seems to be so prevalent here, and look down my nose at anyone who has the filthy habit of smoking.
