Lee Bowyer is a goon though, I will say that. Some say 'tough tackling' midfielder, no, Mascherano is a 'tough tackling' midfielder, Lee Bowyer is an undisciplined goon.
He always has been too. The worst part about it is that he clearly knew what he was doing and received no disciplinary action for it. Hate to say it, but you'd have to think that if it was someone like Gerrard or Rooney on the other end of it there would've at least been a yellow handed out.

Uh, possibly, but it could also be the ref, some refs hand them out like candy and some hoard them like illegal porn, it really depends.
I'd think that if you broke a dude's leg it was either a viciously illegal tackle or buddy didnt look to protect himself, that one was illegal and clearly deserving of a yellow, not that a shiny yellow card is much justice in the grand scheme of things, but its better than nothing I guess.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Diving is something the England lads don't do. Sometimes we're too honest. Even in the Premier League, we see the English lads get a bit of contact and try to stay on their feet and score from the chance.
Go blow it out your ass, twit.

Watching the ManU/Spurs game, amazing goal from Defoe, but the gulf of quality is pretty clear, Spurs cant hold the ball for more than 4 passes while United seem to hold it at will, this will get interesting.

After that pretty much all United save a couple moments. Good to see Anderson finally get one for United. How about Rooney? Best player in the EPL at the moment he is unstoppable.
How about Adebayor running to the opposite end of the field to celebrate his goal? Hilarious stuff be he deserved the booking he got. Arsenal supporters were going ballistic.

Adebayor is classless, I think he's a great player but I lost all respect for him after that play. First he calls Arsenal fake fans even though they never did anything to him and then he taunts them. He's just lucky Arsenal fell apart in the last 15 minutes because when persie made it 1-1 it sure looked like Arsenal was going to find a way to win the game on the road.

I'd give Adebayor a break on this one. He didn't want to leave Arsenal, but the club sold him anyways because they need the money because they lost so much gambling on the housing market.
He turned down twice the wages from both Barcelona and AC Milan last year, and yet the fans still booed him. They were taunting him during the warmup today. I say fair play to him for showing some heart.
Arsenal's title hopes are over. Now it's down to Chelsea, Manchester United, and would you believe it, Manchester City.

Dude, its the 5th round....you do know they have 30+ left to go right? Lots can happen during the rest of the season, but I think this might be one of the most exciting seasons yet, a little more wide open.

No man. Look at how many matches you can afford to lose if you want to win the title. Not taking into account draws here but have a look:
2009: Manchester United lost only 5 matches
2008: Man U - 5
2007: Man U - 5
2006: Chelsea - 5
2005: Chelsea - 1
2004: Arsenal - 0
2003: Man U - 5
2002: Arsenal - 3
I think you see my point. It is next to impossible to recover from two losses in your first four matches and then go on to win the league. Five losses is the most any champion has lost in the years I've quoted. I don't see Arsenal even finishing in the top four, never mind challenging for top spot.
It is great! I discovered it at the start of summer at have probably 15 users on it. It sucks that quotes show up because they are some of the most quoted users.
Anyways apparently Adebayor kicked out at someone? I didn't see the game and only saw the goals. How bad was it?

He stomped on Van Persie's eye. Nearly took it clean out of his head.
Watching the highlights of the Man C/Arsenal game, I cant fault Adebayor for the injury to van Persie, that was a vicious challenge and he just hopped it, there wasnt likely any malice there. Crossing the field to celebrate in front of the Gunner fans was a bit over the top but he got penalized for it.

One of those ones where you try to give him a fools pardon for a reactionary response, (van persie is 2 footing him) but the more you look at it he was studding him.
It was dangerous too. Did you see the reaction of the Arsenal fans? That could have got ugly. Completely unprofessional behaviour. After watching the other incident I am starting to see that one as intentional as well. He looks like he deliberately kicked out to me.
Can I also request that people refrain from quoting any 'special' posts. Liverpool fan my ar*e...
