Bounce Back Players
http://msn.foxsports.com/nhl/story/1...ch-this-season
Marian Gaborik (NYR)
J.S. Giguere (ANA)
Daniel Briere (PHI)
Marty Turco (DAL)
Alex Kovalev (OTT)
Brenden Morrow (DAL)
Paul Kariya (STL)
Ilya Bryzgalov (PHX)
Vesa Toskala (TOR)
Dan Ellis (NSH)
Just stumbled across this. Didn't see anyone else post this. Pretty interesting list. I mean some were pretty obvious (Gaborik, Turco, Kovalev). What does everyone else think?

IMO Toskala could have a good year with the improvements on D in Toronto. Gaborik, Morrow and Kariya are all injury prone so it's hit or miss. Briere is overpaid and will never live up to his contract.

Brendan Morrow i think will have a bounce back year
Mainly beacause his year was shortened from injury.

Gaborik has the capability to score 50 and get over 100 points as long as he stays healthy in New York.
For some reason I just think Giguere's time as #1 is done in Anaheim. Hiller was really good for them last year and I am sure he will get more starts.

I like Saku Koivu to have a good year playing in Anaheim with guys like Selanne and Lupul.
I think Ryan Smyth could have a good season in Los Angeles around some of the young guys on that team.
The homer in me though says Dion Phaneuf will have a bounce back year too. Last year really stung him and with better leadership behind the bench I think he comes back with vengence.

When I saw this, I immediately thought of Phaneuf. He's not on the list, but he has a lot to prove next year. I still believe that w/ Sutter behind the bench, he'll find himself again.

Hopefully not Giguere, hopefully Hiller gets a ton more starts. This is all for my hockey pool or course. I don't care about real life.

Why is Brenden Morrow in this group? He was injured most of last season.
