My Wife and I have just got back from the 1st ultrasound for our baby #2.

We are super excited and will be expecting the arrival around March 18, 2010

Apparently you really are the MacDaddy! Are you going to keep going until 77 is the real question though...its not a clown car you know!

Anyways, I suppose some for of congratulations are in order, so, I'll let whoever posts next take care of all that.

Shell be 3 1/2. We are already talking to her about it and she has been "practicing" feeding and putting her "baby" to bed.

We are going to make sure that we include her in every aspect of getting ready for #2 to try and eliminate as much Jealousy that may occur. She is going to help decorate and paint the baby's room with me.

It's a really good idea to keep the oldest invovled. You will run into some jealousy issues, but ours were pretty minor. Congrats!

Is this a straight up replacement or a proposed addition?

Yeah sure, thats what they all say. I just dont see the appeal.

If I wanted something clingy that I had to feed and clean up after I'd get a dog.

You have experience with this sort of thing? Actually I'm a kids soccer coach, I have the right to hate the little mongrels.

I completly agree with you there! I used to coach kids hockey when I lived on PEI.

There might not be anything worse than instructing other people's snot nose kids. On the same note, having my own daughter and soon another Son/Daughter is the best feeling.

Ditto. There'd be whiskey in every sippy cup until they all passed out and left me alone.
