Default Draft of Schedule posted for review

I've posted the first crack at a schedule for review. It's viewable by clicking the "SCHEDULE" link on the main menu.

The new sim should allow for a more sane schedule - with no more than 3 or 4 games in a row at anyone time.

Take a look at how your team shapes up and post any concerns here. This schedule is set, at least for the time being...I want some eye balls on it to identify any potential problems.

Looks solid, Philly and Luongo open the season against the Coiler, a team that Luongo took to the finals last year. Nice story line there.

Coyotes @ Wild on back to back nights right off the bat. Ouch.

4th year in a row I have been the opening game to the CPHL season. This year it's the "Battle of the East Indians" as Ravi's Ducks battle my Thrashers!

Haven't had a chance to go in depth on the schedule. I see there are a couple 7 games in 8 nights scenarios but nothing longer then that.

Also of note: Trade deadline is Day 153.

I hope travel is not factored into the SIM fatigue rating. My longest homestand is three games and that is near the end of the season. Alot of 2 home 2 away, 1 home 1 away.
Also funny to see Jackets @ Preds for two nights in a row, if you can't make it to the first night to see the your favorite team come night two.

Is this schedule based on new divisional re-alignment?

The schedule is set up for a minimum of 4 games against your conference rivals and a minimum of 2 against the other conference...using the new alignment.

How many games does that work out too? 86?

What are the options for the schedule? Can we set it for something like 5 against our division, 3 against our conference and 2 against the other conference? I think that works out to 80 games and would save the commishes having to sim 6 extra games/ team

A couple of tight squeezes...but nothing to complain about.

No...it only goes up/down by 2...there's basically no way to get 80 or 82 games...unless the # of intra-inter conference games is really weird.

Funny these are the only matchups I've noticed with this

Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames (Rivalry)
Edmonton Oilers vs Carolina Hurricanes (Rivalry)

Yeah I haven't set those yet - if we decide to use them at all.
