Spurs very nearly give away a game they dominated, but they pull it out in the stoppage time. Did I mention that Aaron Lennon is awesome? Top of the table!
There were a couple of interesting things that I saw...
Foster - Horribly slow reaction on the Arsenal goal then a miracle save on one that would have probably ended any hope of a United comeback.
Giggs - First game that I can remember that I was actually hoping he would come off then he makes a beautiful through ball that directly led to the penalty.
All in all it was quite a dull game - not what I was hoping for at all
Happy with the result obviously.
We were crap until about the 55th minute then we turned it on. Still couldn't make a pass all game. Giggs was terrible, very frustrating to watch him mess up time after time.
Several chances in the final 10 minutes, the score could have been more than 2-1 but Berbatov and Nani both with shocking efforts. Inside the box clear and they both miss the net by 10+ feet.
Wenger gets sent off at the end and then trots around like a toddler refusing to leave. That provided comedy for United supporters.
I think the official should be blamed for that he kicked a damn water bottle he didn't yell at the 4th official or anything. That was very bush league like by the official.
Crap result, but really comes down to Arsenal's youth making a few timely mistakes and beating themselves. Still need some experience and leadership to settle the talented youngsters down at the right times.
United sucks, and got lucky. They are not in for a good season.

Load of horsecrap. Arsenal looked just as inconsistent as United but the rolls just did not go their way. Both squads have loads of talent and it will be a matter of putting it together week by week without glaring errors.

Lucky United. Arsenal had the better play for most of the game, deserved a much better fate.

Haha dominated the whole game. United controlled the final 15 minutes and it very easily could have been 4-1, they had two wide open nets but missed the target.
If you reasoning for the loss is that United played like crap and got lucky then I would contend that Arsenal is in for a very long season and a UEFA Cup birth. In my opinion both teams played like garbage and they will both improve, but if Arsenal supporters think they played well then I'll gladly take that opinion.
Yes I agree Wenger's sending off was BS by the fourth official but his tantrum and pacing around was hilarious.

You really do have the homer glasses on. I have two united fans on my soccer team and they both agreed that Man U was lucky to get that win and arsenal outplayed united for the majority of the game.
Both teams played like garbage but Arsenal were slightly better, United's midfield handled the ball like a pulled grenade, and when Rooney was the only option up front the whole team reverted back to mid 90s English football...."hoof and hope."
Couple of things that I took away from that game were that this Arshavin kid has some skills, I was never a fan, but that seems to have been a solid addition.
Also, I think United fans are going to sour on Berba pretty quick, I cant recall seeing such a listless and lazy player. He was never this lazy at Spurs, he couldnt afford to be, he didnt have the caliber of players feeding him the ball, he had to work for it. I dont know what his deal is, but when hes on the field its like United are playing with 10 men.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Yeah in hindsight that deserved a caution and PK. At the time I thought it was a great tackle though. Another instance of where the replay may have done good...
Somewhat retribution for Fletcher's puzzling sending off against Arsenal in CL last year I suppose.
I don't care what Modric says; Lee Bowyer is a dirty POS. Modric has a broken leg. United is lucky they're getting to play a very wounded Spurs team. Hopefully Harry can get someone before the transfer window shuts.
