Updated original post to reflect Saturday Oct 3rd seems to be best.
Other topics to vote/argue on:
1. Goalies yes/no
if yes:
(a) 1 point win 5 points SO
(b) 2 points win 3 points SO
(c) other
2. Money Breakdown $20 or $25 each?
(a) payout 100% winner
(b) pay 70 - 20 - 10
(c) pay 65 - 20 - 15
Nota bena the solid start at 1600, so that our hatred can be fully focused on the Oilers at 2000.
I will be there before 1500 (to set up Locke's big board), will draw names out of a hat at 1530. If you are not there when your turn comes up, will move you to last pick 1st round. If you are still not there and have not called when that pick comes...you are out.
First overall should be ready to pick at 1600.
Closer to the day I will PM cell number if you do not already have it.
Special rules:
Locke must draft Radulov
He who drafts Luongo must also draft Cornelius
Discuss...

My votes in bold, I dont think I'm in on Radulov this season, I've thought about throwing my hat into the Jagr sweepstakes....I hear the Oilers might be interested which means that they'll play his ancient ass about 60 minutes a night because really, what else have they got?
Agreed on Luongo, if you draft Luongo you should also have to draft someone daft like Alex Picard or Michel Oullet.

I didnt know the CC had a drinking event....
Speaking of which, as the draft is not happening on the 26th, can we still go to Petes and watch the game?

Note that last year 14 GMs took 3:15 to finish 11 rounds. So if we have more GMs this year, we'll have to allot more time before the hockey game. Or have a timed draft?

If people came prepared, we could do it in 10 minutes.
