Yes, it will be thursday. If you happen to be home thursday, you can make a european psn account and download it around noon (they are 6 hours ahead of us).

Yeah a number of times that was the score. But the odd time it would be something completely different. Not sure if it's supposed to be random after the first time or if it glitched on me.

i think the playstation store updates in the afternoon. so it won't be up for 12 hours or so i believe.

The north American store updates around 6-7 pm eastern. If you create yourself a European account you can pick it up around noon.

Actually I noticed very little difference. It's 6 hours earlier ... a slight decrease in speed is worth it!

Hardcore mode is so effin' sweet.

compared to some of the frustration i am reading about, I feel like hardcore mode is more tuned to how I instinctively play. I am getting pretty good with the passing system already. Cross Creasers are hard.

I wish they let you turn up the game speed in the demo. I have NHL08 for the xbox, and I play it with the speed at full because I find it more enjoyable a little quicker. It's hard to get a good feel for the game when it plays like it's in slow motion.

while everyone has different preferences, to me its more authentic this way. while hockey can be a very fast game, i feel video games have always shaded towards the overly fast arcade type style. with most games you can play with 5 minute periods and still have the same amount of end to end rushes as a real 20 minute period because of how fast everyone is and how accurate passes are. you can go from a legit scoring chance in one zone to a legit chance at the other end in like 4 seconds. stuff like that hasn't been realistic since the 80's wide open style. for me, i like the slower more 'authentic' speed.

but its all personal preference. and like you said, its great to have sliders that allow for everyone to find their own way. but the demo is just a demo, so we are stuck with what we get.

OH MAN !!! What a tease... I have to wait for over 2 weeks to play this game? rough..

Anyway.. game feels good. Feels alot more consistant than 09. I also like being able to poke at the puck along the boards and not take a penalty everytime. I hope that stays true in the release.

Is the game in stores on the 15th or being shipped out on the 15th?

so far in BAP, I am a point per game player, whether defense or forward.

Hitting is so hard though, does anyone have any tips?
