KFC introduces the "Double Down"...chicken IS the bun!!
Yikes.
Quote:
Why bother with the bun? That's the premise of KFC's latest offering, the Double Down, a sandwich that replaces the traditional bun with two original recipe chicken fillets that hold bacon, cheese and some secret sauce.

I caught part of an interview where the head of PETA was going on about the slaughter of animals to feed america, and specifically mentioned this sandwich.
(PETA was on a program where they were blaming fat people for animal abuse because fat people eat more meat than skinny people, allegedly)
Because I hate PETA, I think I am going to go and buy one of these if I can find a KFC.

I think the only appropriate side dish for this would be poutine.

Nah, deep fried batter fries would be more appropriate. I think the sandwich provides enough meat, but you can never get enough deep fried batter!

That's a photo of it looking good? Aren't product photos supposed to be enticing, I don't even want to see how it actually looks when you order it and they give it to you.

Side dish? You just gotta open that bad boy up and and dump it in the middle.
