Here is hoping Fox isn't involved in the movie whatsoever. All looks and no acting abilities. Although she could probably convincingly say Meow.

She sucks.
How about Alyssa Milano? At least her acting isn't gawdawful. Or Shannon Doherty going along with the "Charmed" theme.

The British media is known to state rumors as facts and the linked story comes out of London
Nolan and whoever makes the Batman franchise does not need to do any type of stunt casting of a hot girl who cant act to get people to the theater, the Batman franchise and the fact that the last 2 films have been excellent will be enough to get people to go see it
And if it was true it would be all over the news in American media like variety etc.
edit: and a quick search finds this statement from Warner Brothers, who own the Batman move franchise
"It's rumor. It's not true," said a studio rep. "There is no script. There is no project to be cast in."
A British tabloid reported that the Transformers star would be following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry – donning a catsuit in the next Batman film by director Christopher Nolan – which understandably but unduly created a stir on the Internet.

funny note in that article - following the footsteps of Halle Berry.. haha yeah because that will give you credibility. That movie sunk Halle Berry.

I honestly thought the third movie in this series would be a stinker, I'm pretty convinced now. Fox doesn't have the chops to be anything but some babe running around in leather, I can see it now:
Batman 3: "we're out of idea's, so here's megan fox, you chimps like that, right?"

Holy over reactions Batman!
She is playing catwoman! hahaha other than going meow and hanging upside down on her leather whip, what else does she really need to do.
If Shia makes an appearance in this movie though...................

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Megan Fox should've been a porn star, not an actress.

The thing is though, Nolan et al really seem to me like they might. I'm not saying after Nolan is done with Batman we might go back to the camp of Schumacher etc. But I really think that if Chris Nolan can't make a good movie in the universe he's created (the 'real' Batman) than he won't.

well NOlan may or may not, but the Batman movie will still be made by someone if there are millions of dollars at stake.

Oh I totally agree. But I think at this point Warner Brothers would be stupid to hand the reins of the franchise over to anyone else.

When Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker, how many people thought it would end up being an excellent choice?
A lot of people scoffed.

The difference is Heath Ledger could act. And we all knew that. Did we think the casting was weird? Sure. But we knew he could act. Megan Fox on the other hand can't. For some reason (heh, I wonder what that is..) I put up with it in Transformers. However Megan Fox in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, she got on my nerves right around the time she let the little Decepticon hump her.

Has she ever been in a movie that required her to act, or one that even had a good script and direction?
90% of actors are nothing without decent coaching from the director and a decent script.
I'm really just playing the devil's advocate. I don't see a lot of potential in her, but I wouldn't write her off completely based on the crap she's been in that would have been crap with or without her.
Up until Brokeback Mountain, Health Ledger was pretty much the male version of Megan Fox.
