That's the thing. While I feel your pain in wanting to pick, we do still have over a month to go before we're starting the season. I mean, the game itself won't even be out for 3 more weeks...

Having said that...

If we can get 15 (majority, not counting me) people to vote "yes" in this thread, then we can institute a 3 day limit. This would mean that a person has 3 days (72 hours) in which to pick their team, or get bumped to the end of the list. If a person who was previously bumped to the end of the list gets bumped a second time, they will be replaced by the first person on the waiting list.

The reason I'd like to see 15 votes first is that if we don't even have 15 people checking this thread in the first place, then there's really no point in bumping people anyway.

Starting now, just quote this post and gimme a yes or no vote. (Quoting this post is important, as it will tell people who might miss this post what you're voting on. You can delete the 15 names to save space, though.)

As vocal as I have been in bitching, I don't think 2 days is enough. If it is over a weekend and someone goes away on Friday and is not back on their computer until Monday that does not seem right to me. I would vote yes right now to a 72 hour rule, unless the person contacts fI80 in advance.

I don't care if the rule is 24, 48, or 72 hours, as long as there is a certain time limit.

I'm really torn. I want there to be a time limit, but we have 1.5 months before it starts. I'd just hate to see us wait on 2 people or so for weeks on end and not have the teams squared away before the season starts.
