I wish I could get into Soccer. I think I'd cheer for Man City.

Bet on it. You'll be yelling at refs in no time

How 'bout them Spurs? Defoe and Lennon were brilliant today.

Oddly enough, I saw a commercial when I got home today and it's showing their game against Wolverhampton on Sportsnet on Saturday. I'll try to get up for 7:30, but this whole experiment might end up resulting in a smashed alarm clock.

The match itself doesn't start until 8am. Sleep an extra half hour.

I don't think United will have to worry about who is going to score but rather who is going to create moments of magic almost effortlessly. United is a solid club all-round and should have no major problem losing one of their stars but when they lost Ronaldo they lost a player that seemed to always be able to have a moment of brilliance that would lead to a great play, which was usually finished. Now United do have other players capable of having these moments but Ronaldo, the prancing prick that he is, seemed to have an unlimited supply and could do it almost on demand. In my mind that is what they are going to miss, that game-breaking ability footballers only usually have when playing FIFA09.

Manchester United with a great rebound. Wayne Rooney scores his 100th and 101st goals for Manchester United. He's having a superb start to the campaign.

Arsenal 4 - 1 Portsmouth
Birmingham 0 - 0 Stoke
Hull City 1 - 0 Bolton
Man City 1 - 0 Wolverhampton
Sunderland 2 - 1 Blackburn
Wigan 0 - 5 Manchester United

Man United vs Arsenal, next week-end. This is a big test for Arsenal, with a chance to get 2 games up on Man U early in the season.

two big games in a row for us.. Man U then Man City... Gunners need to get 4 points at least out of those 2 games.

Nice win by Chelsea over Fulham today. I watched the second half and it looked like the blues had the vast majority of control of the play.

Another nice win for Burnley today over Everton, who've been playing like crap to start the season. Could've been more than a 1-0 scoreline too.

Spurs still top of the table with a 2-1 win at West Ham. Defoe was good again today. Lennon was stellar. Nice to see different guys stepping up each game.

Not entirely ... I ended up getting drunk on Friday night and sleeping in.

I caught the last 30 minutes which was basically City clinging to the lead and a Noel Gallagher cameo.

It's a start
