I think the girl that was murdered could have played Jessica Rabbit if she had red hair! I hope they catch this guy fast. Money can only get you so far.

I think Kansas has 6 people on death row. Supreme Court rulings have commuted the rest to life. Similar things have happened in other states as well, California being among them.
I'm used to hearing about Texas and Oklahoma executions. Can't remember the last California execution I heard about. In fact, California has executed just 13 people since 1973.
Given the population of the state, it must have the least prolific death penalty in the country.

I think they executed 2 in 2006, I remember reading California has over 600 people on death row(most in the country) but because of the courts it takes a brutal long time to carry out the sentence's.

This guy was escaping by his own private boat anyway.
Why didn't he drop her in the ocean?

I'm not so sure the debate over extradition and the death penalty is warranted. Short of a SWAT team catching him totally off guard, I bet this guy eats a bullet from his own gun if he feels the noose tightening. Count on it.
Guess his Mom and Dad might have to retire from the cocktail scene for a bit.

Sounds like his folks have some money and his dad just flew his jet in from the Honduras. He may be off in the sun by now. Those little planes require passports but only to the pilot, which may be someone in the loop. Once he's off, he could be gone forever. I can't imagine helping your child get a way with something like this, or at the very least, teaching him to man up to his responsibilities in life.

Do you have anything to base that on or is that just an idea you are throwing out there?

Some people with that much money don't live in reality so I wouldn't be surprised if Pops helped him escape authorities

I don't have the link, but I did read somewhere on the Herald I think, about his dad being a high roller with a plane from Honduras. I'll try to find it again.

Dammit, i was worried he'd off himself. If he really did what they say (and it pretty much looks like it),I was hoping he'd have to answer for it. In cases like this, it really is the coward's way out.

Cowards way out or not, he's dead as he should be, and taxpayers on both sides of the border now will not have to foot legal bills, while the family won't have to relive the murder in court - though they were also denied the opportunity to face the killer.
