Maybe you can get an "alumni" card? I have one... not sure why or even how I got it exactly, but I do have one.

Careful reading on Beyond they improved the security on it now.

You only pay $80 total for all 8 months... it's really not all that bad. But I am all for screwing the system and selling it.

Really, my Mt.Royal one was $106, and I think it only lasts until Dec.31. I hope it lasts the 8 months, saves me money, but I'm not sure. I'll be picking it up Monday.
Mine is for sale btw, if anyone is interested. Not sure if it is a full year, or half (I think half).

They actually get kinda grouchy and pissy if you don't take it off before you go get your winter one. Totally got the stink eye 3 semesters in a row.
And for those who are asking. If the alumni card looks like a normal ID, then it should work. But as far as I remember, the alumni cards look totally different.

With Semester two around the corner (fees are Monday) I'll have another one for sale. Good from Jan-April, I think, haven't gotten it yet.
I think I sold my last one for $80, so I'll stick to $80 again.

Damn, if I wasn't mugged in Europe and lost my UofC ID, I would be totally in on this. Oh wait, I said that last time around!
I just am mad realizing I spent like $1000 on transit last year. $85x12 months.

Hmm this is odd, I'm not sure if it's just in a special case like mine or what. But right now I'm on a term abroad in Italy so I wasn't at U of C for this sem. And I didn't have to pay for the Fall U-Pass, I'll be paying for the Winter U-Pass when I get back in December, but that is all.
