what does your sig mean...
"
Everyone knows scientists insist on using complex terminology to make it harder for True Christians to refute their claims.
Deoxyribonucleic Acid, for example... sounds impressive, right? But have you ever seen what happens if you put something in acid? It dissolves! If we had all this acid in our cells, we'd all dissolve! So much for the Theory of Evolution, Check MATE! "

It's a quote from some fundie on a message board somewhere trying to debunk atheists and their crazy science. That one is a bit of a meme and it's tricky to track down the originator of the particular statement. However, http://www.fstdt.com/Default.aspx (Fundies Say the Darndest Things) is a great site to find similar malarky from the mouths of fundies.
There's also a section on there that deals with crazy conspiracy theories. Perhaps Tower has been mining their archives for thread topics...

Yup. What he said ^
Just a funny quote from somebody who clearly has no understanding of science and yet still insists on arguing about it as if they are not completely ignorant.
I just thought it was funny, in a sad way.
I tried to track down the original link I got it from, but had not luck. I think it came from somewhere on the webpage fredr123 mentioned.

on this topic, there is an interesting book called 'case for faith' by lee Strobel, its basically a guy who is christian but is having doubts and talks to several people about things like miracles and intelligent design etc. in one part he goes pretty indepth about the theories of evolution/big bang etc. interesting book, one of those books that makes you think.
thats all

It's nice to see you emerged almost unscathed. You still want a Palm Pre, but other than that you seem pretty normal.
