I bought my Mazda from Kramer and their sales service seems ok. However, my experience with their service department is another story.

I got my Mazda 3 from Kramer as well. They seemed extremely hard-headed on budging with pricing at all... but that could be because I leased instead of financed. I haven't had any issues with their service department, but I've heard others have.

Bought my Mazda 3 from Sunridge. Sales guys were a bit incompetent, and the service department were the biggest jerks I've ever met.
Been taking my car to get serviced at Kramer now, and I'm pretty content with them. Avoid Sunridge at all costs.

Everyone has their experiences I suppose. Mine has been the opposite, as I've found the service dept. at Sunridge to be absolutely fantastic to deal with. Professional, courteous, and timely.

The thing I hate the most about buying new cars, is that I know more than the salesmen do... It get's tiring constantly correcting them about THEIR products.

My wife and I set out to buy either a Matrix or a Mazda 3. In the end we preferred the look and feel of the Mazda, but the salesman at Toyota was so much better than the saleswoman at Mazda we just had to go Matrix. Toyota guy was incredibly knowledgeable, extremely nice and didn't BS about what we wouldn't like about the car. When we told him we were going to test drive the Mazda 3 he told us to expect a really fun test drive because it's a nice car. When we showed up at Kramer Mazda the lady handed us the keys for a test drive and said "so you're buying today right?" It then took her 15 minutes to figure out if the car was available in blue.
The dealership seemed ok, but that one particular saleswoman was beyond brutal.

I now take my Mazda to North Hill Mazda for service. A+ service as compared to Kramer.

If it comes down to sales or service, I would choose the place with better service every time. In the end, you will only spend a few hours with the sales guy....the service relationship can last years since you're locked in the warranty, and if it's a bad one it can be hell on earth.

The service driver at Sunridge flat out refused to drive me anywhere outside of the NE. I wanted to be dropped off at work downtown, he wouldn't do it, said they don't do that and he said the best he could do was drop me off at the c-train station. That was the first and last time I took my car there to be serviced.

i was gonna post the same thing. my sales guy was great, phoned around to different places until he got me my requested $500 on trade in for my POS Dynasty (i wasn't even expecting that, just set it as a lofty goal), and even though i was in a hurry i ended up getting a very good price on Mazda 3 back in '05. everytime i've gone back for service has been painless as well

Kind of OT, but is it possible to talk anyone down on a new car these days? A couple of years ago when I was kicking the tires on a new vehicle, they all pretty much acted smug and said their prices were non-negotiable. I specifically remember the Mazda and Honda sales people being the most arrogant.
I mean, if prices are set in stone, why even bother having sales people trying to sell you on features if you can't come back with something? Might as well just have someone working a till like any store.
