Disturbing incident at Chinook Mall
Not sure if this is a fata, I tried to find a thread for this, but couldn't.
http://calgary.ctv.ca/servlet/an/loc...ub=CalgaryHome
It's good that someone noticed this and called the right authorities. Anyone there this past Saturday?

I was at Chinook almost all of Saturday afternoon, I didn't even realize anything unusual was going on.

Well, I didn't ask questions when the middle-aged guy asked if he could take some pictures of my pee-pee. I assumed he was just being friendly.

This is my favourite part of the article:
"Cori Anthony Cimolino has been charged with public mischief and is banned from Chinook Centre for two years."
TWO YEARS? THAT'S IT? What do you have to do to get a lifetime ban?

Anyone know if those "hire someone to do your shopping" services are expensive? I don't think I'll be able to get to the mall for the next little while.

To be fair, I do actually have candy in the van. Nobody likes a bait and switch.

About 2 years?
Don't worry, Malzac opens next week and they're in a different jurisdiction.

Just stay outta the stalls man. Use the urinal like everyone else. If you gotta drop a deuce then leave the damn mall. Friggin mall rats ****in in stalls...
Anyways, 2 years is ridiculous. Should be a lifetime ban and jail time or throw him in the looney bin. This guy is a criminal imo. They should release his face to the public so we know what he looks like (Ren) jk

Who gives a rat's ass about how long he was banned from the mall? Dont you think there should be at least moderately more severe consequences than a misdemeanor which is probably a fine, and being kicked out of Chinook?

I don't see how he would not be charged with some type of child porn crime. Mind blowing that having this on a computer is more of a crime than producing the images. Granted it's not porn but damn... sick people out there.

There's a rather simple solution here of floor to ceiling wall partitions or at least partitions that go all the way to the floor. That's how stalls are at airports overseas to discourage people grabbing wallets and bags that may be on the floor while you're one the throne.

And how are the esteemed mall cops at Chinook going to enforce that?

I have a friend who does that job while he is going through university and he does a damn good job. They have to deal with a surprising amount of crap at that place, there are the rift raft from the c-train, kids trying to steal stuff, a large native population which makes a habit out of squatting, a massive parking lot that needs to get patrolled. There are idiots that work there for sure, but at the same time I have no doubt that the vast majority of the people who work there do a damn good job.
