I have been using the same Starbucks travel mug for about 3 years now.
Best purchase ever, keeps hot for 3-4 hours.
Mine is the Dark Gun Metal version of this one.

Costco has these ridiculously amazing coffee mugs that will keep your coffee hot for hours on end and doesn't spill. I don't have one, but holy e, I feel like everyone keeps telling me how awesome these damn things are. They come in a pack of two. That's all I remember about them.

I don't have a membership to costco but I'll look for some friends and check it out. What you just said is exactly what I want

I'm dropping by Costco this weekend. If you haven't figured out what these are, I'll check it out and let you know what they're called.

See http://www.gocontigo.com/. I bought the silver coffee mug on the front page. Gotta say it's a pretty amazing coffee cup. Will not spill and keeps drinks warm for hours. Buy one, you wont be disappointed.
Was 2 for 25 from costco i believe, although i'm pretty sure they are not stocking them now..

I think that's it! My friend up ended one above my head and not a drop came out. She was also raving how her tea was still hot and it had been 3 hours.

2 for $25 is a great deal, but on their website it's $20 for one + shipping. Still, I would much rather have something for $60 that can keep my coffee warm for 2 hours than my darn starbucks one that was worse than the cardboard cups.
Thanks you two, I'll definitely try to get these and if not the Starbucks one Regulator posted. Problem with the starbucks one is... I'm just so mad at them haha and the mug is over $60 on ebay.

i work at starbucks and i can tell you this is one of the best one! we have a customer who comes in every day almost and he has this mug and his coffee stays hot for a very long time! either that, or you can get one of the eco tumblers, apparently they are popular, or we just got new stainless steel ones in, but hurry, cause stainless steel mugs are very popular!

I know this is ridic old. But I checked them out a few weeks ago and I didn't see them. Sorry it took me so long to get back to this. I'm thinking around Christmas they should have them though. It's one of those good gifty items.

I had one of these till some jackass at work stole it. Loved it. I've checked about 10 Starbucks locations and no one has these anymore.
If anyone sees one of these for sale at a Starbucks, can you PM me?

I have that too, but in red. It does a good job keeping my drink warm, but if it fell on its side, it leaked like a bitch.

The wife has two of these big boys 20 oz red version.
I cannot stand them, the mouth spout does not work at all. You literally have to free pour into your mouth, you cannot make a seal around the spot and sometimes the air/liquid pressure? builds up and the coffee will not come out at all. Or when it does decide to come out, it pours with crazy force burning your mouth and hand.
End rant.

Does anyone have a good tumbler that would keep things warm for over an hour and isn't ugly as hell?

As a general rule, I try not to drink any of my liquids....ever.

I was at Zellers and in the automotive department of all things there was an electric warming mug... I don't know if it leaks though.
