We had our first mercy rule ending this season with the Saints last night. We were up 10 - 1, and tried really hard not to score the 11th goal, but the other team was just too brutal, so we got tired of circling their zone and not shooting, and just put it in and went home.

I really wanna play in that Saints game. What are the chances of an open roster spot? How is the team the Puckers are playing tonight? - Any good?

I am pulling myself out of tonight's line up. I am driving up to Commonwealth in plenty of Stamps & 2009 Grey Cup Champs gear and support our local football team against the hated Eskimos! Good luck boys!

Well, Erik is coming out to that game for sure, and Furlat is out, so that puts us at 13. So we just need one guy to drop out and you're in.

As for tonight, we're playing the Punishers, they're a really good team when they bring their two ringers. It'll be a good game.

I was thinking of doing the same thing for tonight, but I decided against it because of the puckers game and the Kings of Leon concert later.

They're not bad. We've beat them before but one game they had to bring out all their ringers and beat us 5-3. They're 7-6-1 or something, 4th place.

It really depends on if they'll try and bring ringers out again. The game we lost, it was all because of 2 players. It was laughable. The rest of the team stinks.

Hey guys, Me and couple buddies are thinking of entering a team into the Canlan classic hockey tournament in Vegas on Nov 13-15th. We are still looking for players and I was wondering if any of you guys were interested at all. Im still getting all the details together (price, accomodations, and all that), but if any of you are interested, we would be going down there to have fun and party and play a little hockey. Winning would be great, but isnt the first goal, the first goal is enjoy vegas and meet women, second goal, make it to our games.

Just thought i would get the word out to you all, incase there was some interest.

The team has talked about this. Personally, I'm getting hitched next month and am using up all my days off work and saving to furnish our house. I'm out, unfortunately.

PS: Puckers tie 5-5 tonight after blowing a 4-1 lead. Mayer's bro stood on his head, punched a guy in the head. there was nothing he didn't do. it was great.

Our game was a miracle. We were missing 7 guys but managed to pull out the win, they tied the game 6-6 with 1 minute left and we then won it with 6 seconds left
