Damn I lost out on Brent Johnson and barely on Belanger. Definitely some weird contracts out there, the goalie batch had to be the most confusing set of results. Nitty to Dallas and Canes getting 2 backups when they already have pascal leclaire, valiquette and Craig Andersson...

Wow, I had heard Draper was getting 4 million a year...or was that a rumor I stared...I can't remember. Happy to get the old man, my team is young up front and he has one of the best FO ratings in the game along with good DF and EX/LD for a pretty young forward core. I was this close to upping my bid on White to 3.35, but I was too slow getting home from walking my dogs.

Sabres close the circle on Peltonen , a guy we originally scouted and brought over to the CPHL as a FA. He sucked for us, was moved for nothing and then became a good CPHLer in Boston. now he's fled North America in the NHL but is a CPHL Sabre

this deal was made with this season in mind, he'll slot onto our 3rd line as the defensive conscience with Fedorov and Chunks Penner. This bumps down Alex Steen-who had a rough year and saw his ratings tumble-to the 4th line where he will probably play with Steve Begin and Dave Steckel

He has a 79 df and it's a 1 year deal @ 2W. Makes sense to me.

I'd say that long term 2 way contracts with high annual values are far more problematic than any 1 year deal. These long term over payments are when we end up with 62 guys in the AHL because no one wants their CPHL salary.
