No. When ever I am having a "good" dream, like doing something cool/fun or with hot chicks, it always changes when it starts to get good, then it sucks for a while and I wake up.
On a more related note, my brother sleep talks. When we were in Florida we had to share a room, and in the middle of the night I woke up (because he was talking) and he was like freaking out. It went something like this (he is K, I am J):
K: *Sits up frantically, panicking* Where are we? *wimpering* ...the doors...their closing in. Where are the doors? Why are they all locked? *He then looks to the right where a door was (no access though)* ...The door, where is it? They are coming we better leave.
J: Shut up and go to bed.
K: But there are no doors and we are trapped!
J: SHUT THE HELL UP!
K: *Lays back down and starts muttering to himself*
That is all, I told him later and he laughed, but it isn't the first time he has done it.
At home once I went to bed late, and our rooms are right next to each other so I have to walk past his to get to mine. And he once was standing up talking like someone from Star Trek, and I yelled at him, and he went to bed.
It is very weird, when ever I yell at him when he is sleeptalking/walking he seems to understand me and react (oddly), but remain "asleep", and he has no memories in the morning. I laugh when it happens, but luckily it has never gotten serious.
But that's when you have to give him suggestions and just mess with him. I tried unsuccessfully with my roommate once. He would talk in his sleep and for months I would say 'Give Rob $20'. Never did get the money though
And yes, I am too - although was much worse when I was a young'n, it still happens occasionally. I sleep talk once in a while too.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
I have assorted strange things I do at night, most are a part of narcolepsy. I never fall asleep during the day though, I just get the occurrences that have to do with my sleep cycle at night. An MRI and some blood work later, and they have me on thyroid medication. 95% of the symptoms have gone away.
I used to watch tv in my sleep, sometimes for the entire night, and wake up the next morning exhausted from basically not sleeping. Sleep sex, jumping out of bed, walking around in my sleep, talking to 'ghosts', seeing things floating around in the room, laundry, you name it I have done it. My wife finds it funny, except for when I wake her up staring at her.
Anyone can have narcoleptic symptoms, but the odd person has them all the time.
I used to date a girl that would do math in her sleep. I could ask her questions like 12x15, and she would answer me right away. She would also go nuts some times, if it was storming out, and start screaming...
PS. I used to eat cookies in my sleep, and almost pee'd in my dads shoe when I was about 5 sleep walking. haha. Story from my mom
Anyone ever had a "lucid dream" where it seems like you can control what goes on in the dream?
Im a lucky person, almost all my dreams are lucid. I also go into a state of relaxation where I will dream while still awake. Hard to describe, but im sure its like being on drugs... haha. For instance I have had a dream while watching tv, and it just felt like the dream was between myself and the TV... Then the dream made me laugh so I just started laughing out of the blue, and kept watching tv.

I used to sleep walk a lot when i was younger . I guess I have started doing it again. I have never been hurt but I have been embarrased by it. I sleep in my briefs only ( bad image i know but crucial to the story) . We had company staying over and one morning after we woke up one of the people said "do you remember being in the kitchen last night and talking to me?" I said "No what are you talking about?" Apparently i woke up in the middle of the night and I awoke my company and I was sitting on my kitchen table in my briefs eating a hostess ding dong. I started conversing with them about Nazis and socialism and then continued to munch on my snack before going back to bed. Needless to say I was quite embarrased that one of my wife's lady friends saw me like this.
My wife says she catches me sleep walking once a week or so . A few nights ago i went in the kitchen and brought the dog back a huge handful of treats, threw them on the bed, went in our closet and got fully dressed for work then went back to bed....
Also i guess i routinely have heated debates in my sleep ......or so my wife tells me.
Big time. I once thought my stereo was a pot of gold, but I had to break into the inner crust first. Needless to say, I woke up demolishing the tape deck and was -1 stereo in the AM.
I've woken up in the back yard picking grass.
I'm usually attracted to light for some reason, so I'll wander upstairs and wake up pressing buttons on the microwave.
I remember one time when I was a kid I woke up in the middle of the night thinking there was a hockey game on. We had family over so I had to sleep in my sister's room on the floor and she had to convince me it was the middle of the night. I got mad and went back to sleep. lol
haha, the best was when I went on a cruise with my fiancee (then gf of only a year or two) and her parents. We had an inner cabin so it was quite small. There were two beds on the ground and two that folded down from the ceiling. I was above her dad while my GF was across from me.
This is all from what they tell me happened. I only woke up to hysterical laughter from 2 and grumblings from one.
Apparently, I was shining my watch light around the room and making "wee-ooo wee-ooo" sounds. Once everyone was awake, I began leaning over my bunk and bashing my soon-to-be father-in-law with my pillow.
He doesn't talk to me much.

I think the Calgary Flames have been playing in their sleep for the better part of 5 years.

My neighbour apparently sleepwalks. Once, at around 3am or so, I was woken up by banging on my door. My neighbour (who is about 70 years old) yells that there are Japs and that we must leave at once. Apparently, he woke like 5 or 6 neighbours up as well. His wife finally comes and takes him back, apologizing the whole time and claims he sleepwalks.
Anyone ever had a "lucid dream" where it seems like you can control what goes on in the dream?
Yeah, I get those occasionally. Usually in the early morning after I've been woken up and fall back to sleep. It's an awesome state to be in, and I'm always really annoyed when it gets ruined by being woken up again. I used to try to daydream the scenario from the dream as a way to get myself back into the dream, but it never worked; my subconscious would never take over.
Anyone else have a bad dream in which you become aware that it must be a dream, so you try to wake yourself up, and then the fact that you can't just wake up scares you even more than the dream? I usually am able to get myself to thrash about in bed when that happens (even though I'm still asleep), and eventually the thrashing about wakes me up.
My Grandpa died sleepwalking a couple years ago in Newfoundland, walked out of the house in the winter and made it quite far before freezing to death.
Sleep walking is scary, my sister does it sometimes, she has never put herself in danger though. The weirdest thing she's done is somehow move her matress downstairs to the dining room, put it on top of the table, put all her stuffed animals and all her clothes on top of it and slept under the table without waking anyone up.
I've never done it but I talk in my sleep all the time, I used to always sleep over at friends houses and in the morning they would tell me about a bizarre conversation we had the night before, but I don't remember it at all. At my cabin last year I woke my family up 2 seperate nights yelling random words and laughing while completly asleep.
Every time I realize that I'm dreaming, the first thing I do is run to the school as fast as I can so that I can feel up hot chicks. I usually wake up before I make it though.
This isn't creepy, because my age divide 2 plus 7 equals 18. So grade 12 girls make the cut.
My sister used to be a real bad sleep walker but she grew out of it... I think. Well anyways, back when we were kids my sister slept walked into my parents room and punched my mom in the face then went back to bed. Weirdest thing ever as I was woken up with a loud scream and grabbed a hockey stick to see my sister walk by me back into her room.
Slept walked for the first time in a long while just last week.
It only happens after heavy drinking. It was Thurs night, and all I know is that I awoke as I was butt naked, opening the door to outside. We live in DT Toronto. Fortunately the cool air and people's voices on the street woke me up. Otherwise I am pretty sure I would have been naked out on the street taking a leak...
Hoping this will not be the start of a new trend...
My coworker has a boyfriend that does it. Bad combo that guy ... he sleeps naked and he sleepwalks, so nobody likes to stay overnight when they throw parties. I guess she can fool him by closing the door, but then all he does is scream "F***" at the top of his lungs when he can't find the door handle. As funny as it is to tell his stories, there are some mornings she'll come into work on zero hours of sleep because he was up all night freaking out. Sounds pretty bad.
