I hope the goalie doesn't pokecheck too much. Watching some of videos it looks like you won't be able to pass much near the goalie without him poking it away. Hopefully it isn't too hard to score goals.

Season modes online have been brutal the last few years. There's really no organization to them which has been a disappointment. I'm really hoping this year or next has online seasons with a full schedule and such.
Season mode this year returns to offline. I've been waiting for this since 2006, but now that it's finally here I don't have roomates anymore. Not sure how me and my friends will work with it, but dammit we'll find a way!

Are you guys saying that offline season mode, as in 2 people each choose a separate team, and play it through? (all 82 games for each team)
Play as your team and then the opposition when it is against your friends team.
They need this back!

I don't mind this, it'll stop all of the cross creasers from winning all the time and will force them to actually play the game.

I personally like the GM mode deal. I wish if you did a piss poor job you get fired but not like (I think 06) you dont get rehired they should have other teams try to steal you or what not.
I will not get ncaa and get this instead.

Yeah, I think the achievements and trophies are the same for every game, I can't find a link because I don't know a site that has PS3 trophies listed.

This is one thing that has bothered me with any sports franchise or BAP mode. It would be awesome if you could keep your team/player but just play them in the updated version of the game.
Especially with the BAP, as im sure the majority of players do not have the time to lead the player through their full 20 year career, more so if your a gamer who tends to have a BAP mode started in Fifa, NHL, Madden, etc. Allowing the transfer of this player is something EA really needs to look towards adding in future editions.

Will there be a better selection of custom goal masks available or will we basically be stuck with team masks? Wasn't it 07 or 08 that had a wide variety of masks ranging from skulls to clowns?

what would be cool is if you could transfer your NHL guy to football or soccer, and be the next Bo Jackson or Dion Sanders!!
