Any picked this up yet?
I got a copy and really like it. A huge improvement on Wii Sports. Love the archery, bowling, golf, frisbee, and table tennis.
Not a huge fan of the sword play.

I saw this on Breakfast Television this week and it looked pretty cool. Did you have to buy a second WiiMotion Plus sensor separately?
I might pick it up this weekend.

Do you need the Motion Plus to play this? I understand it makes the game way more accurate.

You need Motion+ to play it. Only one is included, but if you're a fan of golf or tennis Tiger Woods 10 and Grand Slam Tennis are both worthy purchases that include the Motion+ as well.

There's a deal on a Superstore right now. Buy Wii Sports Resort for $59.99 and get a 2nd wii motion plus for only $10. ($15 Savings) There were only 2 wii motions left at Westhills last night after me.
Superstore also had a spend $250, get $25 gift card so the $73 I spent on Wii stuff really helped in that hitting that total.
The game I really want to see how WMP works on is Tiger Woods 10 - supposed to be unreal.

I love the Archery and Ping Pong. I bet I have already played 200 games of ping pong. Almost as good as the real thing.

I looked at it - seems a repackaging of the same gimmicks that Wii Sports is built on. Golf and Bowling are included again aren't they?
Plus, Zero Punctuation tore it a new one - not that he's all that kind to anything on the Wii.
I'm seriously beginning to consider selling my Wii. Haven't played anything on it beyond Super Dodge Ball in well over a year.

I picked this up today, it is still in the box.
I love the wii, the wii fit is a lot of fun, although I nearly pulled something on the boxing game... right at the end part...
I dont play console games at all, I much prefer the accuracy and adaptability of the computer. But the Wii is the perfect console for someone like me who does not really like traditional console gaming.

Damnit! CP could have saved me $15. Superstore is the only grocery store I use.

I just finished a session with this game... I must say this was by far the most exhilarating console experience I have ever had. By far. By the end, I was on the floor collapsed from exhaustion as my sister beat me 5 games to 3 in the swordplay. That is so much fun its ridiculous!
The other games are well put together and provide a whole different feel to the game. The canoe game I had trouble with, my sister did well with it though.
The basketball game is probably the most complete game on either wii sports games, you can pass, block, steal the ball, dribble, dunk, get 3 pointers and the best part in my opinion, is that you do not have to control the movement of your 3 team mates, you just dribble and they find their own way to the net, but you have to try and keep it away from the grasp of the opposing player. It is really fun.
The air one is kinda cool, kinda like mario kart's balloon challenge, but flying through the air.
The archery is fun too.
My favourite by far is the sword games. I am awesome at the slicing game, and the sword fight is crazy fun. We really got into it and went crazy, by the end I was covered in sweat collapsed on the floor cursing my sister and demanding a rematch even though I could not even lift my arms anymore. That alone is worth it.
Best Wii... no... best console game ever!!!

along with most of the "Wii series"(Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit), this is a good one to get. well worth the price, you get a "free" motion plus adapter with 15 games.
just got, cannot stop playing it. there is something about seeing a Mii of yourself doing those fun things.

Got it, love it!
I just played the sword game, the third one I think? Where you walk down the path just picking people off, and there's a million stages. Took me back to old nintendo days, couldn't get past a stage, but was at 90% complete, it got me every time.
I really enjoy a lot of this package. The golf is harder than the originial, I suppose that's because it's more accurate. The archery is a ton of fun. The sky diving is great too. It's just a nice easy play for a short time or a while.
EB games was selling it for $20 if you traded in one of four games, not sure if that promo is still on (I think it may have only been on release day though, come to think of it). But at $40 off, it's worth a call to see.

Uh, no it's not a repackaging of Wii Sports. That's for certain. Golf and Bowling may be back, but the addition of the Motion+ makes them entirely better than before (anyone who's played Tiger Woods 10 vs. previous versions can attest to this).
Zero Punctuation is a moron. The whole point of his site is to piss people off with his reviews - hardly anything worth taking seriously.

Eh, Zero Punctuation I find to be brutally honest, and correct in most of his comments about games. He doesn't focus on the positives, but instead the negatives, which is refreshing for a lot of reviews. You don't take his reviews by themselves, but as a contrast to other gaming sites.

No love for the wake boarding? That was one of my fave games to play too - I have to say it's Sports Resort is definitely one of the better games lately from Nintendo! Totally worth the purchase, thanks to IHH for the tip on Superstore!!!

We picked this up on the weekend. I brutalized my wife in the Swordplay (she was not pleased). Also loved the basketball, archery, and frisbee. Great fun and now we're going to plan a Wii party soon.

Pretty obvious where those BS repackaging of Wii Sports comments are coming from too. Table Tennis the same as Tennis from the first Wii Sports? Not even close. Golf may be the same as the first one, but anyone who's played Tiger Woods 10 can tell you the Motion+ makes a bit of a difference. You can just flail to play swordfighting, but actually playing it the way it was intended to be played dominates flailing aimlessly.
I don't understand people that take that guy's reviews seriously. Sure they can be funny, but most of his reviews you can tell he's gone in with the mindset of ripping the game and simply feels his way around for an hour or two until there's enough material for a 4 minute "review".
Wii Sports Resort isn't perfect - there are some duds in there. But according to that review every single game is either a piece of crap or was in Wii Sports 1...which just isn't true.
