Going to be down in this area for about a week in October. Anybody been before. Good places to eat? Nightlife? Things to do/see?

um why Baton Rouge? New Orleans is an hour away and I was there last weekend, don't remember any of it, but pretty sure i had a good time because both my credit cards got flagged for fraud!!

Might hit New Orleans as well, but it's a bit of a road trip and New Orleans is slightly out of the way.

If you're in Baton Rouge on a Saturday, tailgating at the LSU game would be a must.

I can help you a bit if you get to New Orleans, but I barely remember my days in Florida...too much sun, yeah that's it.

Unfortunatley I won't be there. Going to the UT vs. Georgia game the weekend before in Knoxville, so I'm looking forward to some epic tailgating there.

pensacola parties hard with poppers pills and pepsi. ybor city is tres speedy but they throw such killer parties. killer parties almost killed me.

Panama City (Beach) is fun for spring break (Canadian or American) but outside of that it's a pretty sleepy, Christian town, as per the locals I spoke to when I was there.
