Final Score: CALGARY STAMPEDERS 48 BC LIONS 10

Wow, talk about one-sided game. The Stamps dominated in offense, defense and special teams. My new favorite DL Odell Willis is having a Charleston Hughes season from last season. He was a force all night outrunning the OLines from BC, any blockers and BC QBs were non factor. Whatever happenned to the Super Sub? I guess he is human after all.

OFFENSE: started slow and no running game going early. After BC scored a TD, it seems like Burris and Co woke up. Reynolds started running and the offense started mixing up the plays. Instant success! Reynold scored 2 TD and ran for over 100 yards. Burris threw for 3 TD (could have been 4). He only threw for 163 yards. Rambo went down with the knee problem on a horse-collar non-call. The two Jermaines (Copeland and Jackson) took over the game. Copeland could have a hat trick but the three blind mice (in field referee, Tom Higgins and Jake Ireland) called the TD catch a NON-CATCH call.

DEFENSE: Dominated!! The DLines were awesome again tonight. Mike Labinjo were great early in the game then he got duble-teamed again, in comes speedy Odell Willis with 2 QB sack and numerous QB rush and pressures. The rest of the DLs Kashama had a QB sack close to the goal line(almost scored a safety), Malik Jackson, and Tom Johnson were a force all night. DB Brandon Browner had a great game and some great hits. DB Dwight Anderson played well also but his altercation with his teammate DB Donovan Tate were the talk about all game by the TSN crew. Linebackers are not visible today but they too played well.

SPECIAL TEAM: What can we say about Mr. Automatic? DeAngelis is Mr. Automatic are perfect so far this season. Burke Dales did well angling the punt. Titus Ryan almost scored a TD in the second half. Thank god we don't see much of Markus Howell doing punt return much anymore. The punt return/kick return coverage were awesome again tonight not giving BC punt/kick returner much room.

Why did the Stamps win? Too many boneheaded mistakes by the BC Lions. #1 Kicking the ball inside their end zone when they could have surrendered a safety. Titus Ryan almost scored a punt return TD on that kick. Calgary with a good possession scored a Burris to Jackson TD. #2 Ian Smart came out of the end zone and ran the ball instead of giving a single point. Calgary scored a TD again.
Too many penalties. BC's Oline were dominated by Calgary DLines. DLines pressured the BC's QB way too much all night that both Pierce and Jackson were ineffective. Of course BC's turnover due to Calgary defense pressures.

Awesome win for the Stamps!!

I love it, 48-10 Stamps in a dominating win!! I always love beating BC teams, it never gets old. What a great game on the road for the Stamps.

Went to the game tonight! BC Place is a really bad place for football games, they need an outdoor stadium with about 25,00 less seats. Cash only at the concession stands, and they stop serving beer 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter.

Stamps were absolutely dominant. I am a little surprised at Burris's numbers, I thought he looked way more consistent than that.

I hate seeing Rambo go down like that, luckily the Stamps have always seemed to have a bevy of great receivers. Go Stamps.

Isn't this standard at most stadiums? Are you saying you want them to take debit transactions at the concession stands?

As far as the game goes - very entertaining. Nice to see the D really flexing it's muscles right now. Also, I don't care what Anderson said(and Anderson is a loose cannon), Tate has to shut up right there and listen to a veteran instead of getting up in his face like that.

Yes, or perhaps even credit card, it's 2009. I don't want to spend 30 minutes in line for an ATM, then another 40 minutes in line to get beer.

maybe credit card, but for debit, you would be spending twice the time in line than you do with cash

Ya debit or credit at the cashier would be a terrible idea. Takes long enough as it is.

Is it that tough to remember to bring cash to the game?

Have a cash only line, then have a line up for those who want to use debit or credit. Wouldn't the Lions organisation want to provide every avenue to accept money from people willing to spend it? Or have more than 3 ATMS in the entire stadium.

Or perhaps the far fetched scenario that you spent all your cash occurs? We have to be punished with two heinous line ups for not withdrawing enough cash before the game?

Sorry I guess I should have said is it too tough to remember to get cash before the game and bring enough to last?

The amount of people that are effected by the ATM lines is way smaller than the amount of people that would be effected by removing one line and making it a ATM/Credit line.

I am not sure why a team would want to piss off more fans by making everyone wait longer rather than those few who forget money/don't bring enough.

It's not safe to carry cash in Vancouver. It's like Escape From New York. Or Art Bergman might roll you.

I was at the game as well. It was my first time in the stadium. I was impressed. It is a nice venue, lots of bathrooms, lots of concessions, big open concourses, and the sight lines are pretty good. Although it is like every other stadium built in the 80's. Just a big chunk of concrete.
