Yes because we all know Gretzky supports drinking and driving. Nice to see how that thread relates to this.

WOW! I can't believe a thread like this was made, considering the anger and the emotions that Bertuzzied must be going through. Classy.

"Hey CP...how many of you have been dumb enough to drive drunk and end up being like the guy that killed those people the other night on Richmond and Sarcee?"

Nice one Rerun...nice one.

I'm pretty sure counting responses in this thread it is about 20-6 in favour of driving drunk. Well not in favour of driving drunk, but that voted yes that they did drive drunk.
Hahaha no i was shocked to find out how many yes(s) there are.

Anytime you tell someone a story about a person being killed by a drunk driver you get about 95 percent of people say "idiot drunk drivers"

I bet you if we go and check out bertuzzied thread about his cousins friend dying and check out the responses of ppl that said that the driver is a idiot and should be put in jail forever probably voted yes in this poll.

I was scared straight in highschool - ended up driving home (approx. 60km) after a big bender & didn't remember the drive at all. I'm very lucky I didn't hurt anyone that night - haven't considered driving after having more than one drink since then.

But then you have the ambiguity of the poll to thank for that too.

It's a private poll.

I don't think I'd be averse to setting the legal driving limit to 0 actually, but then again I hardly drink so it's easy to say that.

Even if it was, how are you going to obtain the 'real' identities of these posters?

It seems all the people that have said yes have done it in the past and know how dumb it was, so why don't they have the right to call the drunk drivers now idiots? I have personally done it when i was 19-21 and now realize how completely idiotic it was and if I saw me from the past doing I would call myself an idiot, infact I did. I was an idiot!

you'd be suprised how not drunk .08 is, basically if you feel it, you're probably over.

even good people do idiotic things from time to time, I've got friends i know for a fact have driven over .08, not drunk to the point i wouldn't get in the car with them, but they'd probably have blown close to over, yet when asked for this poll they voted no.

I'd suggest if anything, that a few of those nos are actually yes's, not that they're lying but they probably didn't think they were drunk,

Nice one Rerun...nice one.
You know. I thought it might be the perfect opportunity for some self examination here. Guaranteed, a lot of us have drove drunk in the past and I'm sure some of us continue to do it.

Maybe, just maybe, by having a thread like this some people might take a second look at themselves and re-examine their driving habits.

My motives for posting the thread were good. If you see it another way...

But yours are the most interesting. You implied that anyone who voted yes should be incarcerated. I must have misread your implication as you were not just making your point. But proposing a pseudo inquisition as you had hoped the poll was public.
